A little caution about new member gregzeng. He is likely mentally unstable, and you should not provoke him. Here is some of his background which you can find in his posts: I have traumatic brain injury (TBI, also known as ABI, or CHI): car accident 30 years ago, Sydney, Australia. In this nursing ho...

This summer I was at the hospital waiting for a relative who was in surgery. I used the hospital's internet access and posted here without logging in. It surprised me that the post showed I had posted here under two other names. I have never posted but under the one name I am using now.

Re: Using Ramp Feature (and making it work)
Now I'm going to turn it off and see what difference it makes. Does anyone else see the irony here? DWaldman started a thread telling people to use the ramp, and as a result of the thread, someone is turning the ramp off. I am quite intrigued by this thread. I have ramp set at 45 because I thought ...

Your responses are often much more harsh and snarky than what you have posted in this thread. Is this a tone you like to set in a forum that is dedicated to helping sick people?Wulfman... wrote:Thank you for your words of support, 49er.

Re: Ramp time
The manual says NOTHING about "just what the machine will or will not do during ramp" regarding treatment of apneas. Oh, yes it does. From the S9 AutoSet clinician's manual: Ramp time defines the period during which the pressure gradually increases from a lower more comfortable start pressure to th...
