Nasal pillow vs nasal mask and BiPAP settings
OK my question is are the same machine settings used for either mask type OR are separate and distinct settings used depending on which mask used? Thanks

What to do if I need to get up at night and use the bathroom
I have been using the tubing quick disconnect and tuck the tubing end under the pillow keeping the machine on. After returning from the bathroom I reconnect the tubing to the mask. Is this acceptable or should I be turning the machine off? Thanks

Re: New user-reading data
Thanks everyone. I put the card in the machine and downloaded data. Then I put the card in my Macbook Air 2, opened Sleepyhead and began trying to figure out what it all means. There certainly is much data. Hope it all begins to make sense soon.

Re: New user-reading data
Thanks Pugsy. No Sd card installed. I did find compliance data under info. I want to use Sleepyhead. Do I simply insert an SD card and the data download is automatic or do I have a download procedure to perform? Thanks

New user-reading data
I just downloaded Sleepyhead and went to my machine to remove the SD card. I found no card installed. I called my DME and they said that no card was needed for the techs to read compliance data. Is that true? is there another storage device built into the unit that stores data? I read the user's man...

heated tube?
OK, so I am new to Bipap and use my humidifier at setting 3. I understand some tubing is heated, and some is not. Mine is unheated. What is the criteria for using a heated tube? Is it something for winter use? Thanks

Tried setting 2 last night. Great nights sleep. Nose feels fine this morning. I'll try setting 3 tonight.
