What the heck does that mean?

It's plain and simple - Julie is a racist. I've seen her demonstrate it before.

I am hoping and praying the roughly year and a half on ASV therapy will eliminate the need.
It's possible the need was eliminated the very first night you used ASV.

In any case, I hope it works out for you to do without supplemental oxygen.

Re: Caffeine...has anyone been able to quit?

Just the opposite... I used to get PVCs (heart "skipping a beat"), which got worse when I drank coffee. Those stopped completely as soon as I started CPAP, so now I can drink all of the coffee. I had that, and like you, it stopped with CPAP. I believe pre-CPAP my body was under such stress the skip...

Re: travel machine

As I stated to the first response to my post, I didn't have more room on my body for another carry on. I have traveled more than 1,000,000 miles via air in my working career and I made the decision to put my CPAP at risk. If it didn't make it I would buy another one. Acceptable risk IMHO. Not for e...

Re: Ocular Pressure / eye issues related to cpap mask types?

Thanks for your reply’s! Here is an example of one I book marked. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/18326715/ You know that is a very weak study? By the authors' own admissions: Study Limitations We did not have a matched control group. It is difficult, however, to find obese middle-aged patien...

This is a forum of CPAP users who do their best to take care of their health including sleep.

You'll probably have trouble finding someone here who is sympathetic to your whining.
