Re: What do you use for colds, allergies?
Thanks, I've got the flonase and will keep using that and will also stock up on Sudafed (the strong stuff :). I do notice that the humidifier seems to help clear things out a bit after some time. Palerider - how is the bleep mask working for you? I have a p10 nasal pillow that was working for me for...

What do you use for colds, allergies?
Checking to see what people here use that works for them when they have colds or bad allergies (I.e. - nasal congestion). Trying to find something that will work for me to keep passages clear. I have been stopping cpap for the nights when I'm sick or allergies are bad but I know that isn't good. Tha...

Re: ResMed ASV device - 2nd month, not working compared to first few weeks
Thanks for the help and the information. I can get in to clinician mode now and will try modifying the settings to see if it helps. If I start getting things dialed in better, either controlling the apneas, less leaking, etc. What specific numbers in the Oscar images should be affected would you say...

Re: ResMed ASV device - 2nd month, not working compared to first few weeks
As far as changing the min and max EPAP, is that something I can change on the machine or do I have to take in to clinic/doc? Yes, I have been waking up quite a lot throughout the nite. I usually fall asleep with it, then wake in about and 1 1/2 - 2 hours, I assuming once i hit my first REM cycle, a...

Re: ResMed ASV device - 2nd month, not working compared to first few weeks
As far as which mode I am in, I am pretty sure I am in ASV mode, but if there is an easy way to check on the screen, let me know and I can confirm for sure. Thanks for any help you can give with reading the reports and pointing out any potential issues.

ResMed ASV device - 2nd month, not working compared to first few weeks
Hello! I have struggled with tolerating CPAP for the longest time. Never received a benefit with the different machines they gave me, so gave up trying. I finally got diagnosed correctly (Central Sleep Apnea instead of OSA). The first machine they gave me for CSA (bipap AutoSV) didn't work for me. B...

Re: Help with ASV Device, CSA
I would feel comfortable with changing the pressure myself to see if it helps. Will make appointment with sleep doc also, but that is usually a month out. Can I get some instruction on it, or link to a resource? Thanks! I woke up again with it last night after about 2 1/2 hours of it on. Then was wi...

Re: Help with ASV Device, CSA
Thanks again for all the help and good info and I definitely need to start looking at the data from SleepyHead to see if I can see what is going on. I do see from some of the graphs that the pressures definitely spike up quick when I have an apnea, so maybe that is causing an issue. I do need to wor...

Re: Help with ASV Device, CSA
Got SleepyHead working and reading data, just don't know how to interpret it all...lol. If anyone wants to take a look and advise, well I've got some data to start with. I will also look around the forum to try and see what it all means.

Help with ASV Device, CSA
Had my 3rd sleep study last year and they determined that I don't have OSA, but CSA. They split the nite up into 3 parts, no device, then cpap, then an ASV device. Previous to this I had been prescribed a cpap device for the past 10+ years but had never been able to tolerate it. Spent many, many nit...
