Re: tube temp=86-humidity=0-rainout insues

For what it is worth, I do sleep with my head under the covers a lot, particularly when my bedroom is cold. I did that. and OMG it worked! https://i.imgur.com/LyDHpVM.gif thank you ever so much. now, I just need to make some decisions on what temp and humidity combo will work best for me under the ...

Re: tube temp=86-humidity=0-rainout insues

BTW have you physically checked the heated hose air temp to confirm that it actually reaches the temp you selected for the heated hose? Like with a digital thermometer?? I have a digital cooking thermometer that has a long probe I could stick in the end of the heated hose that I think would work to...

Re: tube temp=86-humidity=0-rainout insues

Do you run the hose under your covers? Or is it and the mask outside the covers? Because the only way I can think of to address the rainout under these circumstances is to keep the air inside the pillows barrel warm enough to not trigger the condensation. For what it is worth, I do sleep with my he...

Re: tube temp=86-humidity=0-rainout insues

Your ambient room temps aren't helping things and I am not going to tell you to warm up your bedroom. BUT you can certainly suggest it. that temp, I feel, helps me sleep. I like to burrow under covers. however, I can always raise the temp and use less of the covers. everybody! please keep ideas com...

Re: tube temp=86-humidity=0-rainout insues

I THINK i've tried auto but am uncertain. You have tried it (Auto humidity and auto heated hose) and no joy........and like Ozij says if you do try auto again then you shouldn't do it without water in the chamber. i'm so messed up from restorative sleep, I wasn't sure. i'll try it tonight unless yo...

Re: tube temp=86-humidity=0-rainout insues

Are you putting water in the humidifier? no Is your room temperature very low? another thing i forgot to mention! room temp varies from 64F to 68F. it's been a fluctuating summer and I sleep with the window open in summer. When you say " have my machine set on a manual heat setting of 86" do you me...

Re: tube temp=86-humidity=0-rainout insues

When you have the humidity set to 0 do you still have water in the chamber so that you end up doing the "pass over humidity" thing? If there is water in the chamber....are you filling it to max water line or less? Still using the P10?? me- "the short hose (I use a P10 nasal mask)is covered on both ...
