Re: Mouth leaks
I have nasal pillows Airfitp10...at first encountered cheek puffing. Tried taping ...3 inch tape horizontally across lips...didn't really like it but it worked. Progressed now to 1/2 " Nexcare tape vertically from upper lip to just under chin. Problem solved...no cheek puffing ...no dry mouth. It is...

Re: Dry mouth
Hi abigailrivers....just want to tell you that I too had huge mouth leaks..chin strap didn't help ...I began with taping using 3" wide 3M Micropore tape ...taping across ...it was pretty drastic but it worked...I continued practising proper tongue placement. Now several months later I have graduated...

Re: Dry mouth
I agree with Paleriders suggestion "tape your mouth" ....it works for me. I use 1/2 to 3/4 inch tape ( 3M Micropore paper tape)... I tape from upper lip to under chin. I is important also to practice proper tongue placement..tip behind front teeth and tongue against upper palate (create suction). Th...

Changing pressure in My Setup
I have a Dreamstation APAP....want to increase the pressure . When I go to My Set Up...it shows Ramp with a lock symbol and my pressure set at 6 (I do not use the ramp feature ). Just want to try a little higher pressure to see if that would decrease hypopneas. Can I do it or do I have to have my pr...

Re: New machine and Sleepyhead
Come to think of it ...perhaps I did use two different machines within a 24 hour period...the old one Sunday night and the new one Monday night...would that do it ? Just reread your original post and realized this could be the issue...will try again tomorrow morning.

Re: New machine and Sleepyhead
Thank you so much Pugsy ! I was hoping I would hear from you I inserted the SD card and got the message "Couldn't find any valid machine data"...
.. yet " My Info" on the machine provides the usual data. Any ideas ? Thanks

New machine and Sleepyhead
I just acquired a new machine..DreamStation APAP...replacing a REMstar System One APAP. My question is do I have to reinstall Sleepyhead with this new information ? Or do I simply insert the new SD card and things go on as usual? Thanks.

Re: Uncomfortable night last night - SleepyHead report attached
Note that you can still blow air out through your lips even when your teeth are together. So a chinstrap doesn't necessarily stop mouth breathing. This is something I caught myself doing as I was waking up. I trained myself to stop doing this by using 3M Micropore tape to keep my lips closed. After...
