Re: Resmed A11: Pressure adjust?
Folks, This forum is GREAT! I got the SD card adapter, and transferred the data to my C drive. How many days of data can the SD card store? I am guessing that it rolls over the older data when it is full (?) I did not find a "save" function in OSCAR (?) What is a good tutorial for a newbie? Thanks a...

Re: Resmed A11: Pressure adjust?
Folks, Thanks for all the inputs. I have now used this machine for about a week, and it seems to be OK. I still have to sort out the Humidity levels, and the Hose heat ranges. No big deal. I downloaded the OSCAR software, and took several tutorials. Looks like a good program.....BUT: My laptop does ...

Re: Resmed A11: Pressure adjust?
Foilks, Thanks for the inputs, especially the Utube video. Several questions: 1. I set the pressures manually based on my current machine: 6 to 15. When I start the machine, the display runs up to 4, then stops. The line below the pressure read out says "6 to 15". The pressure does not seem to be go...

Resmed A11: Pressure adjust?
Folks, I just received a new Resmed A11 from my device provider. I tried to use it last night, and the pressure would not rise above "5". I could not find a way to get the pressure up in the 13-15 range, which I need for quality sleep. I have read/reviewed the manual twice, and could not find a way ...

Low Power CPAP machines...
Hi, 20 year user of CPAP. It's a life saver! Planning on some short camping trips this year. My Puritan Bennett GoodKnight 420 machine was ideal for camping. I used a large battery box for power, and typically got 2 nites of usage before the box needed recharging. My understanding is that Puritan Be...

Re: Camping...I know, I know....
Hey folks,
Any updates to this topic? I haven't been able to camp for a couple of years.
looking to get back into it!
BTW: My Puritan Bennett 420G looks alot like the CPAP Respironics RemStar Pro. Does anyone know if they are the same basic machine?
Thx

Re: Battery jumper boxes: comparing Apples to Apples......
Folks, Thanks for the replies and help! Capnloki is da MAN! I did an Amp test for my PB420G unit: .7 A at 13 cm pressure and 5400 feet of elevation. I bought a Cat Battery box, it is rated at 19 Ah. (Should be good for 2 or 3 nites with no interim charge. (We will see) I am going camping next week. ...

Battery jumper boxes: comparing Apples to Apples......
Hey, It appears that my trusty Everstart battery jumper box is DEAD!! (Not a big surprise, it is at least 10 years old.) The last time I did this analysis, I kinda remember that someone, (Maybe at this website?) had done a tabulation comparing the power demands of small CPAP machines, and the power ...

CPAP travel power for camping and airline trips: Medicare?
Hey, Lotsa questions in one post. Feel free to answer any or all portions. I have a Resmed airsense 10 for home use and a Puritan bennett Goodknight 620G that I use for travel. I have been using an Everstart Battery box as a camping power supply. (Yes, it is big and Heavy) I am looking at the Freedo...

Re: CPAP and Medicare.....
Folks,
Thanks for the comments and input.
I now have a new Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset. I am using the A10 nasal pillow mask.
I like both items. The wife says everything is quieter. I have been using these about a week.
I am going to try using my old mask for reference.
Thanks again,
Rog
