Re: Dreamwear FFM Loud Squeak Driving Me Crazy
It’s not a fart, it’s a squeak and may be coming from the frame rather than the cushion.

Dreamwear FFM Loud Squeak Driving Me Crazy
I recently switched to Dreamwear FFM because the low profile gives more freedom to move. Things went well at first but soon I began having problems with loud intermittent squeaks. I wake up several times a night because of this and end up too discouraged to sleep more. Sounds like it's coming from t...

Choosing new FFM
I've used the Simplus FFM for three years. i like its size and shape, but the leaks are a constant problem, no matter what liners and straps and gel I use. I've already tried AirFit and Quattro--they were too bulky for side sleeping. Is there a FFM that is less leak-prone but still lets me sleep on ...

Tried everything for noisy mask
I usually have a fairly easy time with the Simplus FFM, but I've been having problems for nearly a week with intermittent noises. The noise happens frequently and wakes me up--It's like the mask farting people describe, mostly--and it's definitely the mask and not the tubing. It's been happening thr...

Using cpap gel with RemZZZ liner?
Can the cpap gel be combined with a RemZZZ liner? This is for a Simplus FFM.

Simplus cushion not inflating
I use a Simplus FFM, and I've had good results the past couple years. I received some new cushions from Lincare this week and am having trouble with them inflating/sealing properly. I opened one cushion and have used that though something wasn't right. Today I realized that there was something about...

Best sleep mask to use with FFM?
I'm going on a trip soon, and the room where I'll be staying has no curtains. I'm looking for a sleep mask that plays nice with my FFM (Simplus) and does a great job at blocking the light. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Re: Erratic bursts of air
I forgot to mention that they lowered my pressure yesterday. I don't see how that could have caused this but it still seemed worth mentioning. I tried it several times and had the same results, so I'm pretty sure I wasn't holding my breath. I have more cushions on hand, though not more tubing. I can...

Erratic bursts of air
I was woken in the night, and when I tried to go back to sleep, my cpap wasn't working properly. Instead of the nice, gentle airflow it starts out with, it started out with big erratic bursts of air and also some very long blasts of air. I cleaned the mask and the tubing. I have recently replaced th...

Mask suddenly noisy and erratic
I use a Simplus FFM with a comfort cover, and usually it's a very quiet setup. For nearly a week now I've been having trouble with the mask being noisy (not the machine, which I can cover up) but the mask, which sounds like the air is rushing in/out very loudly. It's also being erratic with the air ...

Re: CPAP Comfort Covers--reducing the noise
Well, I first saw them on Amazon, which is plenty searchable. I tried Padacheek, and she remade it to adjust the size, but, still wasn't a good fit for me But, the point is that I asked how to reduce the noise when using these. I did not ask if you thought this product was a good idea or hated nonse...

CPAP Comfort Covers--reducing the noise
Hi! I recently purchased a pair of these reusable fabric mask covers. I cut the holes right so the air would get in and out. Once I fell asleep, it was some of the best sleep I'd had in ages. However, the inside of my mask is very noisy with the cover on it. It's a very loud whooshing sound, and it'...
