Re: Airsense 10 Humidifier Tank Running Dry
We have this problem with a number of folk who have the Humidity Setting on "automatic". Once humidity is no longer on automatic all improves. 2 cents from Canada.

I agree.
Your values are within normal range.
When your pulse spikes at night when you roll over, is there an adrenaline rush or do you have an "episode" of something not feeling like it should?

Re: Dry Throat issues...suggestions?
Here are some thoughts: A tubing cover or simply hiding the tubing underneath your bed sheets/covers/2nd pillow can deliver the moisture, albeit unevenly. Another route might be dietary adjustments. For some, a lack of daily water absorption within the body can hasten a dry mouth and throat when the...

Re: Opinions on partial night therapy
Liam, I am new to the forum but not new to CPAP. A similar discussion was had on this topic (in another thread). It touched on this very thing, allowing the mask to be off (for whatever reason in the middle of the night) and sleep off without it for the remaining night vs. insisting to place the mas...

Re: Can you help me become compliant?
It seems our northern based advice is heating things up here. With every ounce of respect to all, every side of obtaining compliance can be debated into forever (i.e. putting the mask back on every time it falls off vs. leaving it off and trying it again at the next opportunity vs. other methods.). ...

Re: Can you help me become compliant?
Hi, I work for a cpap company in Canada and we're running along with those who are frustrated just like you are when getting used to the CPAP. Much of what has been said in this thread can work. The emphasis on being gradually compliant is key. You have some time to work with, which gives you an adv...

Re: Say hello to the noob
The key to this will be approach. May I offer something of possible use? When you use PAP for the first time, you may find some outright resistance to your sleep time with the mask on. Many have found success in the following approach. As you use it at night, let the mask fall of (if it does) and sl...

Re: How do I do this?
Julie is spot on, IF your apnea is positional in nature, i.e. snoring more on your back than on your side, you might be able to ease the mild OSA a bit with side-sleeping. A pillow between the knees and a good neck supporting pillow can prevent throat closure and ease snoring. Once those proper slee...
