I'm still learning about sleep apnea, so not sure yet exactly what an atypical person would be. But from some of the postings I feel a little atypical as my AHI is fairly high at 95.4 and O2 levels in the low 70's during the night. She said that no sleep doc or tech in my city is going to look at machine data because it is unreliable. That seems a very odd statement from her. Where I am we must go back to the sleep doctor every month and take the data from the machine to him for review. I can't imagine him wanting to do that ...

Hi, new member here too and am in a similar situation. Was diagnosed with last couple of months and started treatment last week (resmed s9). However my taking the mask off is a purely conscious act. Getting a comfortable fit for sleep and getting use to using a mask I think will just take time - alt...
