Re: Think I need a different mask - how to find the 'right' one?
Hi! I am also new here (tonight is my 31st night), so definitely not an expert. But I do have the same mask and many of the same issues. For me, hiding the bottom strap under a section of hair was a miracle cure. Lanolin was also a lifesaver for nose soreness. Also I went up a size in pillows (from ...

Re: replacement schedule
My statement is not quite so easy to read. I could be wrong, but only 2 items were marked as "purchase" and the cheaper one is $27 and is called "F STR Kit", which I thought might mean "filter starter kit." I guess it's possible that it is billing for both the disposable filter and the reusable filt...

Re: replacement schedule
Thank you both for your replies. If I am interpreting the insurance EOB correctly (which it's possible that I may not be), my 20% for 1 disposable filter was $27 so it sounds like I would definitely be better off not going through insurance.

replacement schedule
I am one month in to therapy, and my filter is starting to look a little gray-ish, but I'm not sure when I am covered for a replacement. I am wondering what kind of replacement schedule people have. I have been trying to figure out how often I am covered for, but I haven't had much luck. The DME say...

Re: new to all this and have a question
Thanks for your help! I have had it set on APAP 8-13 for the last two nights, and that seems to be going well, although I still seem to have what looks like a lot of snoring activity. It's hard to know if it's better or not, since I don't feel any different during the day, and overall I feel like I ...

Re: new to all this and have a question
Thank you! This very helpful. I will try setting the min and max equal like you suggested and maybe also increase pressure by .5 to see if that helps with snores. If feel like I have so much to learn about all this!
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

new to all this and have a question
I wanted to start by saying a huge thank you to those of you on this board. Your wisdom and experience has been a real glimmer of hope for me since I started on this journey. I have already learned alot. So, my story. I initially saw my primary care doc because my husband said that I started snoring...
