Appropriate way to sell two machines?

I have two CPAP machines that, while a few years old now, were barely used at all, since I simply could never tolerate it and gave up long ago. Is that something I can post here, or is there a more appropriate way to sell them? I don't really know the value either, so any help there would be appreci...

Re: DREAMST St 30 issue

So yes I did have some central apnea's, but majority were obstructive and I was prescribed a CPAP and not bipap by the dr that did my real onsite sleep study a few years ago. Fast forward a few years of only using my mouthpiece that a dentist created and I end up having a discussion at the trt clini...

Re: DREAMST St 30 issue

The BPM setting is why you are on a ST though. To trigger breaths when you don’t breathe on your own. I didn’t much care for how the ST works and didn’t care much for 10 bpm. I lowered it to 8 and it was better, but I never felt like that machine was anywhere close to anything that felt like natura...

Re: DREAMST St 30 issue

All the settings should be available in the clinical set up menu area. I am not familiar with your model machine though but I would think it has a back up rate setting available so that it will breathe for you if you don't breathe. That's was the "T" is for...timed breaths and if you don't breathe ...

Re: DREAMST St 30 issue

OK I adjusted the rise time to 6, which was the max. This seems to have helped, as it vastly lessened the "change" from inhale with air pressing against me to exhale where it feels like I fight for air. BUT.. it did not fix the issue of the machine seeming to "guess" that I should not be inhaling. B...

DREAMST St 30 issue

I have a dsx1030t 11c (is that number off the back of the machine descriptive?) that I have barely been able to use. I started to try CPAP therapy a few years ago back when I first started posting on here with a regular CPAP that I could never get used to. I decided to give it another try this year ...

Re: Can a high end bi pap "auto fix" apnea?

Sorry for the delay. My CPAP is a respironics system one. The cervical collar is an interesting trick to try. I did try taping my mouth and other ways to try to keep it shut before but nothing was lasting or something I could live with. I also have a beard so not sure how that's going to work now do...

Can a high end bi pap "auto fix" apnea?

I was diagnosed with severe apnea a few years ago. I tried CPAP for many nights, basically never getting to sleep much at all on it. I quit years ago as well, and just tried out a dental appliance, which has helped some, but follow-up home tests still show ahi from 12-20 depending on which test and ...

Re: AirCurve 10 VAUTO....FOR SALE

I am looking for one of these if anyone has another for sale. I pretty much gave up CPAP for the last few years after never being able to successfully use it. I think bypass may help immensely and want to give a great machine a dry. The new pricing online for these though is insanely high. what shou...

Re: Any success stories with dentist made mouthpiece devices?

Yeah I figure it cant help centrals at all. Of course my non ASV doesnt either. And the mask I cant get myself to use does little for me, either Guess I will keep trying the mask. I try every night, but give up after an hour or so of tossing and turning. Its crazy... the mask doesn't even "bother" ...

Any success stories with dentist made mouthpiece devices?

Has anyone had any success with mouthpiece devices to open the airways? And if so, do these differ greatly from dentist to dentist in their effectiveness? I have not gone past initial discussions with any dentists, but I have had some say off the cuff prices for making the mold and providing me with...
