Re: Successful CPAP but getting frustrated with hose
Guest...not understanding you first comment....second comment, my insurance will cover 60% and no need to constantly pay for mask, hose, etc. even with my copay. I see in the long run it being cheaper. Not saying I will do it but seems cheaper in the longrun.

Re: Successful CPAP but getting frustrated with hose
It just moves around the head of the bed, making nose, banging into my side table, headboard, etc. Constantly tugging on my head before I can fall asleep.

Successful CPAP but getting frustrated with hose
I have had successful treatment with my Resmed Airsense 10 for two years. Snoring has stopped to a crawl and I assume my AHI of 19 during my study has been tamed...all stats point to success. I wear the Dreamware mask which is fairly comfortable, but the hose is really annoying, bulky and I am to th...

Re: New to CPAP Woes
I usually go to be around 11:00 and get out of bed at around 6:30 or so...last night I went to be much later which isn't typical. Before the CPAP, I would go to bed around 11:00...maybe wake up at 3:00 or 4:00, then fall asleep and sleep until 6:30 or 7:00. Since the CPAP I have been waking up at le...

Re: New to CPAP Woes
Waking once a night verses three times a night -- I wouldn't overly focus on that. How do you feel during the day? Were you tired during the day pre CPAP? Or are you more tired now post CPAP? There isn't necessarily a correlation between how many times we wake up (of which we are aware) and energy/...

Re: New to CPAP Woes
Thanks for the acerbic introduction to the site. I am not guessing when over the last two years my wife said I snored like a freight train and now she said I haven't snored for a month...not once. Something is working, but my sleep is fragmented and this is due to my CPAP therapy.

New to CPAP Woes
I am new to CPAP. I had a sleep study done earlier this year as I was snoring loudly and wanted to check into that. It was found that I have an AHI of 19 which is moderate. I was given a CPAP machine. It has taken me a month to get used to the CPAP machine as far as comfort is concerned. From what I...
