Airsense 10 power

Hello, My Airsense 10 suddenly turned off in the middle of the night and will not turn back on. I tried unplugging and also tried a different outlet with no luck. I noticed that on the power cable there appears to be a light just above the 90W. On a functioning machine is this light on? My light is ...

Re: Lavender oil in cpap?

I keep a small dish full of menthol crystals right near the intake vent. It really seems to help keep my nasal passages open through the night as well as helping me breathe better the next morning.

Re: 6 year CPAP user. Should I try Auto?

Can anyone help with this question?
I am going to get started with SleepyHead sometime soon but was wondering if it is ok to sign up for the Resmed/MyAir to monitor things until then. Any downside to enabling this? Is it free?

Re: 6 year CPAP user. Should I try Auto?

Thanks everyone. Gasper I also thought it was odd that my Dr was not familiar with auto. I wonder if there are better Dr options for me in my area. I picked up my new machine today. I went with the Airsense 10 Auto. It is set to 12 cm. I am going to get started with SleepyHead sometime soon but was ...

Re: 6 year CPAP user. Should I try Auto?

BlackSpinner and Pugsy, thank you for those posts. Good info. I just received a call back from my doctor and he is not familiar with the Auto titrating machines so I will be keeping my original 12 setting which is what you suggested Pugsy. That setting is from a sleep study that was done over 6 year...

Re: 6 year CPAP user. Should I try Auto?

I will read the documentation that was linked. thanks. Do people with Auto machines use them set up as auto 100% of the time or do they just use the auto feature to figure out which specific pressure setting they should use?

Re: 6 year CPAP user. Should I try Auto?

Thanks for the replies. I now have a call in with the doctor to get his thoughts on giving auto a try. It is your life, your health. Take control. With software you can have a complete breakdown of your therapy. It is only air. Compare it to diabetes. Nobody runs to the doctor daily to decide their...

6 year CPAP user. Should I try Auto?

I have been using the SleepEasy CPAP machine for over 6 years on a 12 setting. My doctor told me it was time for a new machine and gave me a prescription for a new machine on the same 12 setting. Through my DME I have the choice of two machines that are both Auto. They are the Icon+ auto and the Air...
