Your case is so specialized that no member may feel qualified to comment.

I'm bumping your post to the top just in case ...
Thanks. I think it can be generalized to:

"Does anybody use an Airmini (or similar travel machine) with headgear intended for a regular bedside machine?".

AirMini with AirFit P30i—Best HME Options?

My wife and I both use AS11s with Airfit P30i headgear at home. Fortunately, our pressure requirements are low and the headgear is comfortable, making our use of CPAP both easy and effective. Living in Florida, we use the humidifiers only if it's cold and dry, or if we have issues with nasal congest...

HumidX source?

Not having used my AirMini for awhile, I'm looking for HumidX cartridges for a planned trip. I'm shocked by the cost. $46.50/6 with a 25% discount at CPAP.com is the cheaper of the two sources I tried first. (The other is Apria, my usual Medicare supplier. That's $53/6 with a 15% discount.) Is that ...

Philips Dreamstation 12V power supply

Hi. Our Philips CPAPs were replaced earlier this year under the recall. We used the old CPAPs exclusively in our travel trailer with 12V DC adapters. The labeled output of the DC adapter matches that of the new AC adapter. The connector fit the replacement DS2 after I shaped it a bit with a Dremel t...

Re: Vacation Home Machine?

I thought this might have been discussed, but I can't find it. If it was, I apologize. For the first time in my (fairly long) life, I have a vacation home for weekends and summer vacations. I am trying to minimize the amount of schlepping that I have to do, and I'm considering the idea of purchasin...

Re: Airmini + Zephair adapter + generic HME filter?

I finally got the resplab adapter and MaxMed HME filter for use with my AirMini. The adapter works as expected. I inserted the HME filter between the distal end of the hose and the top of my ResMed P30i headgear. As far as I can tell it seals as well as intended and I can breath normally. I slept wi...

Airmini + Zephair adapter + generic HME filter?

Has anyone successfully cobbled together Airfit P30i headgear with an Airmini, including humidification? We use AS10's at home and sleep very comfortably. We have Airminis and find them satisfactory for travel. In reading a few other posts here about travel CPAPs, I saw reference to the Zephair adap...

Re: OSCAR v1.2.0 is released 10/10/2020

I just installed OSCAR x64 (v1.2.0) for the first time and successfully imported data from my first day's use of my new Airsense Autoset 10. I think OSCAR will be very useful but many of the screens are unreadable due to font size and orientation. This is on a fairly vanilla Windows 10 laptop. Is th...

AirMini data for medical provider?

I'm considering adopting my AirMini for daily use, not just for travel.Other than showing them my phone, is there any way for me to provide data from my AirMini to my physician, as I can with tabletop devices? If not, I see that as a drawback.

Re: 24v battery for AirMini?

Thanks for the input. I read a thread here by another user who described his setup for a trek. My interest is similar, i.e., backpacking. I'd have to do a lot of research on discharge rates, etc, before I'd consider taking on a project like that. By my question, I was trying to clarify that I wasn't...

24v battery for AirMini?

I'm researching a battery for my AirMini. A Medistrom Pilot-24 apparently works, and comes with the necessary cable. I'm curious as to whether a 24-volt e-bike battery can be adapted for the purpose. Other than the being supplied with the connector and cable, what makes a Medistrom 24-V battery diff...

Thanks. I will, but was hoping for comments by someone who had actually utilized the return option. User experience is often helpful.

CPAP.com 30 day return policy?

All, I'm considering purchase of an AirMini which, with additional required parts, costs $975. Being concerned with the mask limitation, I don't want to be stuck with a very expensive paperweight. It would be nice to be able to return it if it doesn't work out. Does anyone here have experience with ...

Re: Power outage - Backup did not work

Good Grief Man! Why would you want a wet cell in your bedroom??? Have you actually ever added water to a wet cell system? Wearing pajamas?? You should know that very corrosive acid splashes around when you do this! Because I"m cheap. But I've adjusted my plans as I've considered different options a...

Re: Power outage - Backup did not work

The document you cite applies to "confined spaces". OSHA's definition is below. That doesn't sound like my bedroom. By definition, a confined space: Is large enough for an employee to enter fully and perform assigned work; Is not designed for continuous occupancy by the employee; and Has a limited o...
