Re: Do you turn the machine off during nocturnal wandering?
I think this is a great question because I was also wondering as well. Lol. I had my fitting today and chose the Wisp mask and the RT showed and told me the exact same thing. To unclip the mask and just allow to hose to blow when getting up at night to visit the loo or whatever.

Thank You
That's it. A huge thank you to everyone who responded to my post a few weeks back and for everyone who so graciously gives advice and information on this forum. Being freshly diagnosed and just receiving my goodies today I intend to stick around and absorb all your wise words. Hopefully in the futur...

Re: Forum for Sleep Apnea questions?
Ooh, okay. That makes so much more sense to me about the REM cycle. Ty so much Pugsy. I'll for sure check into all my meds and discuss them with my Psych Dr.

Re: Forum for Sleep Apnea questions?
Okay here is the report I copied and pasted off of my online medical record. Anything anyone can tell me is greatly appreciated. The two things that seem alarming to me is the absence of stage N3 and that one prolonged REM period. I googled all day and 'am just freaking myself out. Comments: Date: 1...

Re: Forum for Sleep Apnea questions?
Ty for the warm welcome. Should I re-post my sleep study review in a new thread, or is this one okay?

Re: Forum for Sleep Apnea questions?
In response to kteague: Nope. Just the one study. I noticed it as well and figure it was a typo. Not sure what it's supposed to say though. I do take quite a few medications. The only one my Pulmonologist mentioned was Lorazepam. Due to its sedative properties. But that was at my first visit and she...

Re: Forum for Sleep Apnea questions?
Wow thanks for the quick replies. I have googled and wikied a lot of definitions and I've found many charts and graphs of what's 'normal'. The information is overwhelming and I think I'm just worrying myself unnecessarily. This is the review I found at the bottom of my chart from yesterday's follow ...

Forum for Sleep Apnea questions?
I found this forum today and while it has tons of great information on Cpap machines and all the accesories, I'm not yet to that stage of this journey. I had my follow up appointment from my sleep study just yesterday. I wasn't supplied with an actual report, but do have the "review" from my online ...
