The only thing I can think of with the machine turning off is when I get up to go to the bathroom. Do I need to change the settings so it does not cut off?

Unplug the machine and plug it back in as you are holding the two arrow buttons. That will give you access to the setup menu.

I have a similar machine that you have and that is what I was told to do! Let me know if it works, if not someone here with way more knowledge then me can help!
