Re: New ResMed Mask the Airfit P10 Nasal Pillow
I doubt I would be using CPAP at all without this mask. Could not tolerate the others and it's nearly silent. Over two years, am still on my original P10, have only replaced the pillows.

Re: Auto shutoff on resmed Airsense autoset 10
Auto shutoff works fine for me with EPR on 3 and a P10 nasal mask. This is my second machine as the first one had problems and it also would take 5-15 seconds to shut off unlike the current machine. Seems to be hit or miss if the thing shuts off automatically in a short amount of time especially wit...

Re: Airsense 10 & Dreamstation Algorithms
This is the Resmed side cover that goes in place of the water chamber. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-airsense-aircurve-10-side-cover.html I would just the heated climateline hose as it rotates and is at 90 degree angle to the machine. Very handy even if not using the heat. https://www.cpap...

Re: BEEP..BEEP Service Required on PR 550P
It's up to you if you want to do it preventively. Many apparently never need it . The hardest part is having the correct bit on a long-handled tool to be able to reach the screws at the bottom of the deep holes. I forget if it's a torx or a hex head - I had a toolkit that had both. I probably would...

Re: BEEP..BEEP Service Required on PR 550P
I have a 550p that is working fine (970 hours on it). I own this machine, it's not from a DME.
Should I open it and put in this missing screw?

Sleepyhead showing weekly prescription changes?
Sleepyhead is showing weekly prescription changes for my Resmed 10 even though I haven't changed anything since April 2015. Is this normal? In Sept 2015 I started using the Resmed 5 days a week and a PR System 1 on weekends which is where it appears to begin showing the weekly script changes on the ...

Resmed S10 Start/Stop button light off during therapy?
Does the green Start/Stop button light turn completely off during therapy? My Stop/Start button is dimly lit green when NOT using therapy (all day, whenever not in use), turns white when starting therapy and turns off completely with the screen after starting therapy. I could have sworn that green S...

Re: ResMed AirFit™ P10 for Her
I had a sore nose for a bit but loosened the mask by spreading apart the straps.
The mask has a slight downward curve (like a frown) when it is on the right way. I am able to tell in the dark now but it took a bit of time.

Re: Cleaning used machine
It's from craigslist Wulfman, works fine. I assume the water deposits are from transporting it with water in the chamber. Thanks Pugsy. Yep, just the water deposits inside the humidifier left to clean up and wipe down the outside, everything else is new (water chamber, rubber seals, etc) So there's ...

Cleaning used machine
I bought a used PR System One 550p for a second room/travel. 2.5 hours on it. Machine arrived with a bit of water still in the chamber. Inside of humidifier and underside of the humidifier lid have lots of water deposits. I bought new tubing, mask, water chamber, air filter, and all replaceable rubb...

Re: Rain Out in nasal pillows with heated hose
To be clear, the water drops are in-between the two layers on the part that goes in your nose. are those bits of water in between the layers bothering you (as in disturbing your sleep), or are you just curious about the situation? Curious mainly if Climateline is working. It's mildly annoying to ha...

Re: Rain Out in nasal pillows with heated hose
Thanks. Will up the hose temp a bit and see what happens. Pad A Cheek does have a cozy if I can't mitigate this.
To be clear, the water drops are in-between the two layers on the part that goes in your nose. I illustrated below with the Pad A Cheek image:

Rain Out in nasal pillows with heated hose
Have water drops in nasal pillows each morning. Mask hose and main hose are dry. Using Climateline with hose cozy at 81 degrees and hung above my head with Hose Buddy. Humidity set at 3. Room temp is 65 degrees with relative humidity in room at 46 percent. Is Climateline hose not working or is this ...

Noisy Resmed Airsense 10
Returned my 3 month old S10 because the cellular stopped working. This next machine is brand new and makes a whoo sound and vibrates on exhale when the Pressure Relief is ON. If I turn the Pressure Relief OFF, the noise and vibration stop. My previous machine made no such noise. You can feel the mac...

Re: Low AHI but wife says I'm snoring at night?
Snoring with a P10 means you're mouth breathing - but not for log as you have a low leak rate. How long does your wife say your snoring for and is it just once or all night on and off? Definitely get a second machine or get more hours - how long are you sleeping in the chair? Wife says I snore for ...
