3M Micropore. The beige seems to stick better than the white. Give it a go.

Re: Side Sleeper Support
I took my first sobokawa pillow (buckwheat hull pillow) and use it like a body pillow behind me. Later on I got a mixed buckwheat hull & foam pillow for the noggin and it works pretty well. The full 100% buckwheat filling is kind of noisy for the side sleeper IMO (it doesn't sound too noisy until yo...

New is new, refurbished is refurbished. They're two different animals. New open box is another, but why not contact them over at https://www.cpap.com and ask if not already done so? They sell all the available models. No reason I know of they wouldn't be straight with you on such questions.

Re: OSCAR and Snapdragon X processor
Audacity is out there for Linux. Turbotax I do all online. Open Office is a thing. My spare PC is a Dell Vostro laptop that's over 15 years old. It's been running Linux Mint for more than 5 years, probably more like 6 or 7. It was the only Linux build I could make work but it worked. Mint was super ...

Re: Inspire device
As I remember it the MRI question was kind of up in the air in early days of Inspire, seems like it had not been approved or whatever. I can't imagine it not coming up in pre-op conversations. Like if one were getting a pacemaker "don't get an induction range top" or "you'll have to give up your arc...

Re: Inspire device
I had an acquaintance who was diagnosed with OSA around the time I was. He was not overweight but became a bit obsessed with losing weight ostensibly to reduce or cure his condition. Unsuccessfully of course, he was not obese or anything just getting old :) Ultimately he got the inspire some years a...

Re: O2 Ring History to PC
Thanks, the wiki is handy I had not come across it before. Probably won't bother unless I'm setting up a new OSCAR profile anyway, or some issues crop up. O2 levels over here are decent.

Re: Power Consumption
...there are AGM deep-cycle batteries that are designed to be fully discharged each time; I just looked one up and their estimated duty cycles are cut by more than 2/3 when repeatedly discharged 100% - 1000 cycles vs. 300 cycles. Personally I would just go with the one I could use without severely ...

Re: Power Consumption
The total energy use was 470Wh, thus, a ~500Wh power source will run it all night just fine. If we're talking battery power it's good idea to avoid discharging to that depth. Using 50% of available, OK. 80% less OK. In the example above - using 94% - no bueno for some batteries, lead acid ones in p...

Re: Just an observation...but who is going to tell him..
It is claimed he only needs, and takes, 4 to 5 hours of sleep per night. I doubt it, and believe he has Insufficient Sleep Syndrome. Some years ago I was listening to an interview with a sleep researcher whose name I don't recall. He had been studying people's sleep for many years and said somethin...

Re: Already at a Breaking Point with Leaky Masks...haven't slept in 2.5 weeks
I'm just gonna throw this out there because I gave up the leak battle with full face masks, I did not find one that would not leak around bridge of my nose causing dry eye all the time. Nasal mask, hybrid masks and pillows - with even minor congestion I don't seem to have large enough sinuses to han...

Re: Help: I can’t wait until May 16th for my sleep study
I wish I were pushier. Maybe I’ll sign up my daughter-in-law to be my advocate. Reading this I had to chime in, "pushy" is not how I would describe it. IMO "Assertive" is the word for it. Asserting your valid concern and need for some further investigation of the problem. "pushy" has a negative con...

Re: Help: I can’t wait until May 16th for my sleep study
Thanks for the suggestion. I did mention that to my doctor, and he said that they need a very specific kind of sleep test, although he didn’t go into detail as to what kind it was. ... Aside from the mystery test type mentioned by your doctor, is there some chance this "procedure" is itself trigger...

... 'We recently changed over our system and some accounts may have been lost.' What about all my recent messages? 'I don't know.' ... Not confidence inspiring by any means. Best suggestion I can think of is to line up an alternate while you wait for you order to process. That way it's not a mad sc...
