Re: Urgent Mask Leaking Help
I am thinking someone will show up in this thread and suggest a soft cervical collar? Not speaking from experience as i do not use one but it seems like a quick easy workaround you could try to help the situation. As a mouth breather myself with sinus challenges I have settled on the Oracle oral onl...

Re: CPAP Class Action Lawsuit Settlement
In true Philips fashion I received 6 copies of the notification email - two for each of my three registered machines, or is it three for each of the two I had replaced? Perhaps we'll never know. But if there any signing away of any future Philips liabilities I will be opting out. Have yet to read an...

Re: Hans Rudolph V2 large
I just looked this up and decided to give it a try. cpap.com let me change the size to Large at checkout, although the shipping time was estimated at 1-14 days - it looks like it ships when it's back in stock. Also got a good discount with CYBERDEALS promo code so if you're not in too big a hurry go...

Re: Airsense 10 AutoSet on sale for $208 for Black Friday on cpap.com
Edit - I see you arranged a US address, like two days after the fact. I would guess that's a factor although I don't know what conditions there were on this half price deal, but there must have been something - limited time, while supplies last, both, etc. etc. --- From cpap.com FAQ - shipping secti...

Re: My SD card only has 1.5 years of data. 2.5 years are missing. Can I do something to get the remaining data? Airsense
The SD card from the machine is around 1.5-2 GB. It's definitely full but I have a 16 GB card from my camera that I can use. I have a circadian rhythm sleep disorder (diagnosed with delayed sleep-type aka delayed sleep-wake phase disorder). However I believe I have a different circadian rhythm diso...

Re: My SD card only has 1.5 years of data. 2.5 years are missing. Can I do something to get the remaining data? Airsense
What size is your SD card? My AS 10 data takes up about 3 MB/day, approximately 1.1 GB per year. Assuming your data is similar in size, if your card is 2 GB you're definitely out of luck. I've had the AS10 machine reformat my SD card at least one time, for no apparent reason, losing all existing dat...

Re: It broke!
1) Maybe, it depends on what an 004 error code means and that I don't have, thought I might have seen something obscure somewhere in one of my multitude of open tabs that *might* give a hint ... These folks are saying main board over temp, I have no reason to doubt them. And also no clue where to g...

Re: It broke!
I have no idea where to get a main board for it, but these folks have a decent set of steps/walkthru for accomplishing the task if you ever find one: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/ResMed+AirSense+10+Motherboard+Replacement/150423 I got a pretty decent kit from them to do a smart phone battery replace...

Re: Cpap.com prescription no longer valid?
Dentists can write these prescriptions right? Ask your dentist. I see mine twice a year anyway. I was fortunate my sleep doctor's PA wrote my paper prescription with no date on it many years ago. She was pretty young so will probably outlive me too.

Re: Doctor negligence?
I think I was so happy to be receiving a new machine I didn't even contemplate that they screwed up. The worst is that when I tried to confirm they said that I did have a BIPAP. Thanks. In the beginning of my CPAP use, when my insurance changed 6-7 months into my new 10 month rent-to-own arrangemen...

Re: Doctor negligence?
In 2020 my new sleep doctor informed me I was eligible for a new machine. He had my records from my old doctor, so he should have known I had been using a BIPAP machine. Instead, he ordered a CPAP and I was unaware that what I was getting was not a BIPAP. When I asked him at the end of December 202...

Re: Auto off
He is correct by default. The machine doesn't know you removed the mask. It only detects a high leak and assumes (Dumb assumption) that you removed the mask. Well the manufacturer is correct anyway, it comes from their manual. I am curious though - what kind of leak rate does it take to shut off th...

Re: Auto off
The purpose of the Auto Off feature is to turn the machine off when a very high leak is detected. I always turn the machine off before removing the mask. Use the on/off button if you like. Or not. Per the S10 manual (YMMV of course): SmartStart™ Enable / disable the SmartStart feature. If you enabl...
