I've used mine for a little over a month and I still feel tired.

Got rid of bloody nose now get headache, any suggestions?

They seem to still be dry even though I'm using nasal spray and gel throughout the day. Any suggestions? I have allergies but uually with them , nose is stuffe...

Re: Newbie with nosebleeds
Thanks to all I talked to Dr. and he recommended a full face mask. I was given a ResMed mask that covers nose and mouth. He also said to go to manual on heated tube and increase to highest setting. I put it at 7 and still using saline spray and gel had no bloody nose at all this AM. I'm getting warf...

Newby with sinus blockage
I've been sleeping up to 8 hours with equipment. however, even using saline drops and saline gel hasn't helped my right nostril. It has been stuffed due to a deviated septum. This AM I had to use my allergy spray due to excessive stuffiness. This in turn brought some bloody discharge. Not a lot but ...

Re: Connecting the hose on RESMED
Hi; I was hooking my hose on ResMed wrong, not connecting heat connection but it worked. You would have to turn humidity level down to zero. It usually is programmed at 4. However, I would ask company supplying it if you can turn off humidity with hose plugged in correctly, don't want to hurt machin...

I'll call representative tomorrow since I don't want to mess up machine. There is what looks like an electrical connection when I attached hose to machine but not sure.

Re: Newbie with hose making put put sounds.
The heated hose you sent link to looks like mine. I'll have to call local company that I received machine etc. from tomorrow and ask some more questions. In directions it gives more options than are shown on my machine.
Thanks for the link.

Re: Newbie with hose making put put sounds.
Thanks to all; After water was released machine and hose were quiet. I may have to get a heated humidifier although this machine says it has one but there are no controls that I can see for it. PaleRider I will try that but also ask to try a full face mask covering my nose and mouth to get more air ...

Followed your instruction to lay end of hose on floor ,turned on machine and at 6 humidity setting water came out on floor. Does that mean humidity level too high , water caught in hose or? At least it didn't make a noise.

Re: Newbie with hose making put put sounds.
Added correct amount of water to humidifier and now it's making gurgling sounds while hose is quiet. Hate to lose another night because of Medicare rules limiting me to only 9 machine free night in 30 days.

Newbie with hose making put put sounds.
Hi I'm a newbie with slight nose bleeds. I put humidity up to 7 on my ResMed AirSense 10 and last night I woke up about 2:30 to sounds something like put- put. Turned machine off but sound continued waking hubby. I then pulled electric connection. There's still water in chamber. Any suggestions as t...

Re: Newbie with nosebleeds
thanks to all. I'm wearing a chin guard but will tighten it. With the nasal spray came a sample tube of the gel. I will try that. I may have to try the full face mask if these doesn't work. I'm pretty stable on warfarin but may call nurse at coumadin clinic for advice. I finally figured out where my...

Newbie with nosebleeds
Hi; I just joined and unsure of where to add to profile and I didn't see my machine listed. I'm using a ResMed Airsense Machine and a ResMedFX nasal mask. Because I had nose bleed with sinus headache from dryness, I called supplier and they said to turn humidity up to 6 or 7 from 4 setting. Last nig...
