2nd Profile in Oscar

Hello. I'm visiting my sister. I'm wanting to pull up her data (from a ResMed machine like mine) in Oscar. I can see how to make a New Profile. But once I make it, how do I switch between mine and hers?
Thanks,
Eliz

Re: Odd breathing noise

By some miracle I was able to snag an appointment with my DME (whose name has changed 4 times in 4 years because of buyouts). They confirmed it was broken, likely the motor. They said I needed to take it to a repair place and hope that my insurance reimbursed me. Insurance said they would allow purc...

Re: Odd breathing noise

And check the filter, while the machine is running. I opened it up and replaced the filter while it was running and it all seemed fine. Last night before I got out my back up machine, I tried it again. The noise seems to be coming from underneath the top of the machine, below the curve where the ho...

how old is that airsense 10?
It has about 10,000 hours on it.
not it's age, then.

check that the humidifier chamber is sealed snugly into position.
Checked that. I've had that problem before. This is a higher pitched whining sound.

Odd breathing noise

Hello, I've had a cpap machine since 2014, used very successfully. First an S9 Autoset and now an Airsense 10. I use a P30i nasal mask. Last night when I went to bed I could hear myself breathing. I think I've experience this in a very fleeting way before, but this was persistent. I got up and chang...

Re: Resmed Airfit P30i standard Vs. small

Today I pulled out the previous Standard frame. In comparing the Standard and Small, the Small sees about 1" smaller. Much less than I expected. Most of that additional inch is below where the blue/gray piece connects. I do not believe either size headgear stretched out while in use. And unlike the ...

Re: Resmed Airfit P30i standard Vs. small

I have tried both sizes. I started with the Standard. I have a very large head. It was comfortable enough I thought. But sometime after I bought the 3rd one, on a whim I ordered the Small. It fits much better. It doesn't make sense to me because my head is bigger than a lot of men's heads. But it's ...

Re: Troubleshooting S9 humidifier

This all makes more sense to me now. Summer time is quite dry here (relatively speaking) and I do go through more water then. Whether I'm sleeping inside or outside, an odd thing happened. When I first started with the Cpap machine I had it set to much higher humidity and was very comfortable. Time ...

Re: Troubleshooting S9 humidifier

Oh, okay. Now I get it. I hadn't understood how the temp and humidity worked together. On the weekends my "bedroom" is actually an outdoor sleeping porch. Therefore, a lot more humidity than there would be indoors. You can get away with this in the winter in the Pacific Northwest because the tempera...

Troubleshooting S9 humidifier

I have an old S9 machine that I keep at the place where I spend a lot of weekends. I was getting odd error messages that I'd never seen before so I brought it home so I could monkey around with it. The error messages have stopped, but I'm not sure if the heater/humidifer is working. I have it set to...

Re: Swollen turbinates

The doctor suggested the big operation but said maybe we should try the RF first. It was a big success. I can breathe a lot better through nose. I am glad it was easy and worked out so well for you. There are many people who fail to do something about their nasal problems. They try different nasal ...

Re: Swollen turbinates

I had RF of the turbinates last February. I've had allergies my whole life. The turbinates are always swollen. Deviated septum. Nose breathing hasn't been so easy. The doctor suggested the big operation but said maybe we should try the RF first. It was a big success. I can breathe a lot better throu...
