Told my mum about my apnea today.
Apparently I need to take up the didgeridoo .

Re: Intense itching around face mask
OK, sorry I missed that part.
To test, I just plucked a half dozen of those little buggers easily so yes, I will try trimming them.
Will advise. Because who doesn't want an in depth nasal hair update ?

Re: Intense itching around face mask
Great tips, I just read the article on Taming the Mirage Quattro.
I did not realize how the double silicon cushion was supposed to work.
I think I have had the mask too tight.
Thanks ChunkyFrog

Re: Left SD card out of cpap last night
How about two cards? When you take one out, you always put another in. Easier to remember since you are dealing with it at that time anyway.
Now, how to format a new card?

Intense itching around face mask
This didn't start right away, perhaps after about 6 weeks. The area is not red or sore. But I awake many times with an intense itch where the mask touches my skin. I wear the mask tight to prevent leaks so I must remove it, scratch and put it back on. I sometimes shave before bed to get a better sea...

Re: New to osa, and other stuff.
Hi Dave, welcome to the group. I am new here too and find people very helpful when i have specific questions. You might want To fill in your signature as you have additional health issues that sound relevant to apnea that you don't want to have to repeat every time.
Good luck

I think my brain is already associating the mask with a good nights sleep. or maybe its in my head. It se...

Re: Air forced into stomach
I'm intrigued by how many of those centrals seem to be lined right up with leak spikes. Should we be suspicious about which ones are real? If you zoom in on each of those, are they really synchronized, or just close? Yes, that's interesting. A zoom does show they are close and sometimes match exact...

Re: Air forced into stomach
Tons of air in stomach last night. Not just little burps but kegstandesque belches. I didn't make any changes last night. But it's quite clear that turning off the EPR instigated it as it didn't happen once in the first month. I liked EPR too as it felt way more comfortable. It didn't make any diffe...

Re: Air forced into stomach
I have been sleeping with my upper body angles at 20° and the aerophagia issues I was having stopped I suppose that's a special bed. And it would have to be a split bed so my wife does not need to sleep on an incline. Although she reads in bed and would probably love a power operated incline thing....
