Re: Sudden change in mask leakage
Not knowing what machine you are using but if it has a humidifier tank attached make sure it is fully seated in the machine.

Re: Back on CPAP after a few months off
Try adjusting where the hose lays. I found that I had a lot more leaks if the hose was laying in one way than in another with that mask. Once I found the perfect place for the hose, I had virtually no leaks. Oh I did that. I think it was the pillow I was using. It was well stuffed and soft and I am...

Re: Back on CPAP after a few months off
Did not check SH yet but leaks were down from 26 L/min to 16 L/min just with a pillow change. I need to find a contoured pillow that comes up a bit higher than the one I used last night though.

Re: Any way to avoid Apria Healthcare through HMO?
Not sure on this. I would check with the HMO. Let them know your issues with Apria. Provide documentation on the over billing. If they see the issue they may look at other patients to see if there is a pattern and pull the approval to use Apria. I just left them after a year for many reasons but cus...

Re: Back on CPAP after a few months off
%Thanks @pugsy. Was just looking at the stats in SH. I think a few more nights of data and can get a better picture of what is happening leak wise. Last night was in Large Leak 38.67% with the longest one almost 27 minutes in duration. AHI was great though at 2.09.

Back on CPAP after a few months off
Hey all, I haven't posted in quite some time. I had Bariatric surgery in December of 2015 and it has been quite successful. Around October last year I had lost a good amount of weight and had constant mask leaks (ResMed AirFit P10) and decided to try sleeping without it. I slept great! I had an appo...

Re: Time for a new unit
Thanks Janice, the Medium is a perfect fit for me. Took me a bit to get used to it being so much lighter last night but it was one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a while. May be a combination of the new machine and mask but I feel great today.

Re: Time for a new unit
First night went fantastic. I really liked my old Swift FX but the P10 is even better. I'm sure as the frame and strap break in it will get even more comfortable but I am extremely happy with it. The Airsense 10 is great as well.

Re: Time for a new unit
Well as you can see in my signature line I have the new unit and mask. Really pleased with the service I received from my local DME. Should be interesting with the P10 mask tonight but I liked the feel of it. Much lighter than the Swift FX. Let's see how it goes.

Time for a new unit
I will be replacing my aged, but working, S8 AutoSet II tomorrow afternoon. I also have been using the Swift FX nasal pillows for a few years now really like them. I am a bit concerned that the DME I am switching to stated they already ordered a REMstar for me. I know that it is a repeated question ...
