Thank you everyone. I've not been on here much because my machine was working and everything was going well. It looks like I'll buy the cheaper ResMed 10.
Thanks!

New Machine
Hi all,
My machine was used when I got it 8 years ago. I figure it's time for a new one. All the searches say the Resmed Airsense 11 is the one I want.
Any suggestions. I don't need any fancy bells and whistles, just a solid adjustable machine.
What say you?

Lifespan of my machine
Hi all,
I my machine has just over 13,000 hours of blow time. Is that a lot? How long do these things typically last? This is my first one.
I have the REMStar 60 Series, purchased in 2015 from Grayghost4.
Thanks!

Re: Nasal Pillow Problems
Hello all, Being off the machine for 3 nights is a sober reminder why I am on this in the first place. The inner lining is in the correct position. It is also correctly attached to each nostril. My best guess is that it's either just plain worn out and/or I need to clean the diffuser vents as sugges...

Re: Nasal Pillow Problems
When is the last time you put on a new nasal pillow? For the moisture in nasal pillow see posts number 2 and 3 in this thread. When are you feeling the water in the nasal pillow...beginning of the night, middle or whenever? If it's the beginning of the night...when are you washing things? http://ww...

Nasal Pillow Problems
Hi all, I've been using my cpap machine for 1.5 years and it's been a life saver. For some reason, I've been having trouble breathing the last couple of nights. It feels like I can't breath when I have my nasal pillow on--as if I'm not getting enough air. Also, when I lay on my side, I can feel wate...

Re: How do last nights numbers look?
Your numbers look better than mine, so that's good. I have mild aerophagia, but nothing about which to be concerned. I pray it improves for you!

Re: CPAP Newbie Help - Pain with nasal pillows?
I've only been on a CPAP for 10 months. My nose hurt for the first week or two, then it went away. Every once in a while it will hurt again.
Give it time.
Give it time.

Re: AHI after surgery
This was the day after my surgery.
After a spell of post-surgery-insomnia, my sleep (and AHI) returned to normal.

AHI after surgery
Hi,
This is my AHI after an elbow surgery. I was on Norco.

Was it the drugs that did this or the trauma? Both?
I've never had numbers this bad before.

Re: Regression
After some consideration, I think my mouth is opening up during the night (I use a nasal pillow).
I wonder if that shows up on sleepy head?
I may need to get a chin strap.

Re: Regression
Thanks for the reply. Both nights were poor nights. Last night was too, but I forgot to put my card back into the machine. I raised the minimum pressure to 13 last night, which was a poor night. I raised it to 13.5 for tonight. I'm just surprised at how fatigued I am. I feel like I am off the machine.
