Night one...
Ok, so night one of cpap went half well. At 3 am cornflake knocked it off which made water go through my tube! I tried to just dump the water out of the tube and go back to sleep. I woke up at 5 and it was making weird noises so I just turned it of. It said I slept for 4.5 hours last night. The cat ...

Re: Picked up my sleep study results from hospital!
Do you recommend setting the range from 10-14 on night one? Or keep the 4-20? I didn't know if it's better to start out on a lower pressure to get used to it?

Setting up machine for first night use!!!
Got my machine today from cpap.com. Resmed airsense 10 auto set for her
I have read the complete user guide. My first concern is that nothing about the humitity shows up on my screen. Also, I need to change my range level and I don't see anything about doing that either.

Re: Picked up my sleep study results from hospital!
So what would a recommended range be for me?
I'm so mad at myself for messing around with Apria for 3 weeks and I could have had my machine in one day from cpap.com!

Picked up my sleep study results from hospital!
What does this mean... The patient appears to benefit from cpap at 12 cm of water with cflex+3 I will be ordering from cpap.com today. Done with messing with Apria. Going to get the resumed airsense for her. Also that night I wore the resmed mirage nasal mask and liked it, so I will get that as well.

Done with APRIA!!!
I've been going back and forth with apria since the beginning of February. Every time I talk to someone I get a different answer. The guy from the escalation team today was not as sympathetic as I would of liked and kept giving excuses. I have BCBS so I have a few choices in DME's, but hate the idea...

Re: Care credit for cpap?
It doesn't have a visa or MasterCard logo, so the company has to take it specifically. Cpap home.com does, do you know if they are reputable?

Re: What was the benefit of a home sleep test?
Just wanted to give you all an update. I saw that they had billed my insurance $3500 for the cpap titration which I have not even received results for, so I called my doctor this morning. The nurse called back and said she went ahead and faxed my info to apria so they will be giving me a call. Maybe...

Re: What was the benefit of a home sleep test?
Thank you all for your replies! I was there, so no, I can't change anything, but I still needed to understand what I was doing. The titration went pretty well. I felt like overall, I liked the machine and could see myself being successful with it! I love the chin strap to hold my mouth closed! And t...

Darnit! I really wish I had insisted on that as well. Didn't know that was an option. This whole circus is so confusing!
