Re: OSCAR v1.5.1 released - September 23, 2023
I always get a 403 Forbidden error when I try to download the installer. Is there another way to access or register with Apneaboard as every page is forbidden other than the main OSCAR page.

Re: Noob with questions ...Mirage Liberty, Amara View, AirFIT 20
I have been using the Amara for a few weeks and like it. I was using a Quattro fx previously and it was fine but I was getting leaks from time to time which made all sorts of noise the wife did not appreciate. The Amara seems to seal very nicely for me and despite my side sleeping does very well thr...

Re: DreamStation Go - First Impressions
I don't believe in a one size fits all world. Everyone is different so having choice is good.
Whatever make you wake up in the morning feeling good is the correct approach for you.

Re: DreamStation Go - First Impressions
I got mine from CPAPshop.com. They are in NJ I think and shipped promptly. I did not want to wait.
As for the unlock - I got the document from Apneaboard.com. Send them an email and you get instructions. They have the documents for most devices and are a good resource.

Re: DreamStation Go - First Impressions
I do use sleepyhead to get more information than the device or doctor will give me. I am not keen on running another app on my phone and putting that info there. I'll keep it on my PC so bluetooth is just not that important. Using a sd card is fine by me. I am not required to send my info into the t...

Re: DreamStation Go - First Impressions
I miss a humidifier sometimes but I have done fine without them. It does get dry on planes and in hotel rooms but reducing carry on bulk is worth it to me anyways. YMMV.

DreamStation Go - First Impressions
I have been using the Dreamstation Go model which is optimized for travel. I need a packable CPAP and the Transcend is just too noisy for me. Here are some of my impressions: 1) Size is terrific. If you get the optional battery it does get 50% longer but still decent. 2) I found no issues using the ...

Re: Untreated SA may worsen . . . heart health & diabetes
Compliance metrics are necessary even if misused or not useful in some cases. I would hope people have a vested interest in their own health and the desire to take positive steps to improve it. Unfortunately we live in a culture where short term satisfaction is the goal so too often expectations are...

Can an CPAP blower lose pressure over time?
I began therapy September 2010 and noticed an immediate change for the better. The machine is a PR System One Remstar Auto. In the last six month i noticed that my AHI, shich had been under 2 for all of the previous therapy, was up around 5. I did not feel as good either and the CPAP machine would o...
