When I went for my initial sleep study, they said my AHI was at 63.7. (I knew what to ask because of all of you). When I went in for my second study my AHI dropped to 19.8 treated. I was prescribed 17 cm on a CPAP. Some of you out here are seeing numbers consistently below 1. Am I untreatable to thi...

Facial oils causing mid-nite leaks - HELP!?!

I guess it was from the facial oils that accumulate during the night. Anyone have any miracle cures tha...

Go to Apria's site and look at all of the complaints in thier forums. Do a search for Apria on this site. This is the company that I deal with. I have only had them for a short while and I already can't stand the incompetence I see in this company. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is d...

I don't see a major change anytime soon. I have four kids still at home and I bring in the only houshold income. Last time I was out of work, it was for six months. I promised myself I would never do that again. I just keep chuggin' along.

Thanks to everyone for all of this wonderful information. When I started this discussion, I in no way wanted to imply that I wanted to loose weight by sitting on by backside and expecting the inches to float away while I breathed through a machine. What I was wondering is exactly what all of you hav...

CPAP's effect on weight???

I know that higher weights can increase the chances of people having OSA due to larger neck measurements. Also, less activity during the day can also contribute to heavier weight. Has CPAP therapy and increased daytime energy helped anyone to loose weight out there? I was thinking it might really he...
