Re: Lightheaded in the Morning
I have a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset. The pressure auto adjusts - no permanent setting. I can view my % ratings online by logging into the MyAir website. It gives me a nightly % rating based on many factors: Usage hours, mask seal, # of sleeping 'events' per hour, and how many times I took my mask on...

Re: Lightheaded in the Morning
Julie, thanks for the suggestion. I do take blood pressure meds. Oddly enough, I take them at night before bed. I will try taking them in the A.M. to see first if this helps. Will also check into the BP monitor.

Lightheaded in the Morning
I have been on my CPAP for 25 days now. My ratings are excellent, 95-99%. Most mornings when I wake up I am very lightheaded, foggy brain. Takes me about an hour to get going, which usually isn't a problem since I'm retired, but wondering if anyone else experiences this. I can't believe it's normal.

Re: Newbie & RampUp
Yes you can set a ramp-up. . . if it has been enabled in the setup mode. If it hasn't you will need to download the clinician manual to get instructions on enter the setup mode. Not being familiar with the AS10, I'm basing this info on a S9. The unit can be configured to have a ramp of up to 45 min...

Re: Newbie & RampUp
Thanks, Den (Wolfman)! I'm all about the technology/settings that come with this little beast. I will adjust tonite to see if that works for me. This site is wonderful. Seems everything is all about trying this and that to meet personal preferences and needs.

Newbie & RampUp
Last night was my first night with CPAP (actually APAP I think?) auto. When I initially put on my mask the air pressure seemed so high that I could inhale, but had a hard time exhaling. It made my heart race and I had to open my mouth to let out all the air. I have a RampUp feature on my machine tha...

Aromatherapy Question
Hi all. I am new to CPAP. In fact, last night was my first night. If you've used aromatherapy (essential oils), can you tell me if this scents the entire room? My husband, who also uses CPAP, does not care for the scents and is concerned if I use them, it will smell up the whole bedroom. Any comment...
