Re: Beta Blockers, Melatonin, and Sleep
To sleep I sometimes take a 25mg Benadryl. I used to always take 50mg as suggested on the box, but I recently realized that 25 works the same and the grogginess is less severe and shorter in duration. I have also read that tart cherry juice can help. I got some at TraderJoes and it worked a little, ...

Re: Nasal pillow and bloody nose?
Ugh, that sounds awful, sorry to hear that. Turning up the humidity sounds good. Also, Im thinking that a heated tube would help so that the air is not cold. Would a saline sinus rinse or just a moisture spray before CPAP help? Im just wondering.

Recommendations for CPAP supplies company-United Health Care
Hi. My supplier, Timberlake Respiratory in California, has become a mess - several orders have not been sent out. Im open to any suggestions for a good company that accepts United Health Care. Thanks in advance!

Re: Suggestion for side sleeper
I hang the hose with the Swift FX, and that avoids a lot of the issues of pulling on the hose. It also turns the air vent angle so it doesn't blow on me. I got tired of the FX though, because I hated that wet nose feeling from my breath condensing in the pillows. But I've been using the Wisp for se...

Re: Suggestion for side sleeper
Hi, I'm a side sleeper and my name is Roger. Personally, I'm back with the Swift FX for a couple of nights now after using the P10 for months. Don't know if I'll stay with it, but at least the Swift FX headgear stays in place. I've woken a few times now with the P10 headgear having slipped off my h...

Re: Suggestion for side sleeper
My problem with the Swift FX even with a swivel hose is that the hose directly connects to the cushion and pulls on the cushion. The P10 has a frame that the cushion fits in. I sleep with one arm under a regular soft pillow half stomach/half side. With my P10 I might move it once at night but move ...

Suggestion for side sleeper
Hi, So Ive been on CPAP for a few weeks. Started out great with a Swift FX, but lately it's just not comfortable anymore. Lot's of leaks with different sizes, not sure why, and I just take it off after an hour. So Im looking at the P10 because it has so many great reviews. Is it good for a side slee...

Re: Anyone else have issues sleeping on one side vs another?
Yep. I have arthritis in my neck. It's really hard to lean on my right side for long periods. On my left side, I have what's called a slipping or clicking rib, it makes for an awkward feeling when your breathing, like two bones rub against each other slightly, and then release. Not painful, but you ...

Re: P10 or Nano
P10 is smaller and lighter-- nasal pillows. Nano was for me a bit stiff because of the hard inner walls, which hit my face wrong. Both have minimal headgear, but I could not use the Bella loops (tender ears) Taking your mask off can be temporary, or you will need to tape or pin it on to help you de...

P10 or Nano
Hi everyone, Im new to using CPAP. I currently use the Swift FX Nasal Pillow. I've been playing with the different sizes for a few weeks, and go between the large and medium. For some reason, I find myself pulling the headgear off about two hours into sleeping, Im really not sure what happens. I hav...
