Re: Taming the Airfit P10
Pugsy, thanks for the correction. I think I just attribute all the knowledge around here to you by habit. As for the straps, I've had them so far apart that they started to tear at the join. It is like you said, the bottom one wants to come up and meet the top one and the they slip right off the to...

I tried to confirm it myself with a phone call to ResMed but the guy i talked to had no clue and tra...

From what i've read Resmed is aware of the problem and issued a software update to the devices via their cellular modem.... might check with them to confirm.

Re: I'm actually starting to feel better. Wow.
Glad to hear your doing well... my story is the same. I've been on cpap for just over 2 months now. I used to sleep around 4 hours a night... now i'm sleep 9 hours. It used to take me a couple hours of laying in bed to fall a sleep... now it takes maybe 10 minutes. I used to get up every 2 hours to ...

Re: Rainout despite heated hose -- aargh!
I'm new to all this but experienced close to the same thing last week when the temperature dropped to around -5 outside. The rainout i experienced wasn't in the heated hose itself... it was in the unheated section of hose that comes attached to the AirFit P10 nasal pillow mask. What worked for me wa...

Re: I got a full face mask
Oh, your equipment profile had a 407 nasal mask listed. I use the Simplus, it's a small gray colored swivel adapter like this https://www.cpap.com/productpage/fp-eson-simplus-cpap-mask-swivel.html They are easy to lose, sometimes when I take mask off the hose it ends up stuck in the hose instead of...

Re: colonoscopy
I'm going in for a colonoscopy next month. I think it's more important (at least for me) that they know i have a pacemaker and they're aware of my medications and how long i've been off Plavix for my stents. I never even gave it much thought about mentioning the apnea... like mentioned alot of peopl...

What mask is it if you don't mind me asking.Noctuary wrote:.....but it doesn't fit the hose. I called and was told several times that the hose was "standard" and that the mask should fit.

Re: Quattro FX large to Airfit F10 change?
Hello and welcome aboard. I have both the Quattro FX and the AirFit F10. Everyone is different but from my experience with these masks i had better luck with the F10. I'm a side sleeper also and the F10 was more confortable with my head against the pillow than the FX but from what i encountered they...

Thanks avi. I'll look into that. If it continues i'll just have the administrator delete my account as i'm not going to waste any more of my time dealing with this guy.avi123 wrote:OffroadToy, you can put palerider on your foe list as I did.
