Re: Question AHI 0.0
I'll post some graphs tonight when I get home. Right now my pressure is wide open, 5.0-17.0. I would need to look again to be sure, but my pressure typically stays below 11 most nights.
I haven't used an o2 oximeter over night. I'll look into that too. Thanks!

Question AHI 0.0
I was diagnosed 6 months ago with OSA. I was and am still overweight, with a BMI greater than 30. Since being diagnosed, I've lost 15 lbs. Initially I would register an AHI between 1-2. Now when I read my data in Sleepyhead most nights I am registering an AHI of 0.0 (4-5 nights a week). Some nights ...

Re: Nose Bridge Issue - Head Gear Related
Janknitz...thanks for the suggestion. I set my nose bridge to 24 and tighten the lower straps more and presto...no sore nose this morning and I slept almost 7.5 hours with the mask. I am going to continue to wear the band-aid over the nose until the sore is cleared up completely and then try sleepin...

Re: Nose Bridge Issue - Head Gear Related
Janknitz, thanks. I'll give this a try tonight. I've taken my CPAP off a few times now in the middle of the night because of significant nose pain. The difference I feel in the morning (groggy), compared to when I sleep all night with CPAP is noticeable. I need to get this worked out. Thanks for res...

Re: Nose Bridge Issue - Head Gear Related
Thanks for the quick suggestion. I didn't want to get too long winded, but I started out at a 0 and moved to 3 on the forehead pressure. The irritation still occurs at that setting. If I move it out further I get leaks around the eyes. I think if I could just hold it in place vertically I feel like ...

Nose Bridge Issue - Head Gear Related
I've am having repeated nose bridge issues, I realize this is a common complaint. I use a band-aid over the area and am also using Remzzz, but the problems persist with small open wounds on nose bridge. I think I've narrowed down the cause. My mask seems to fit me fine, but during sleep I moving aro...

Re: Two weeks in, still tired in the afternoon
I am approximately 2 weeks in as well. I noticed I am tired about 60-90 mins earlier then I am use to for my normal bedtime. I do experience afternoon fatigue as well, but not as severe. On the positives (I know it's still early stages for me), I am no longer napping after work and my morning wake u...

Re: New CPAP user needs desperate advice!
I hope you get something that works out for you. I am sure everyone has their own thing...Here's what works for me. I am new to CPAP too, I use a full face mask. I find one thing that helps me is to stay up until I am can't possibly stay awake any longer. I found by doing this I fall asleep quickly ...

I've suspected I've had sleep apnea for quite some time (10+ yrs). I brought it up to my primary doctor a few times and he said yeah maybe you have a touch of sleep apnea and because he didn't seemed concerned I wasn't - mistake. I had/have classic symptoms, I woke up gasping a handful of times over...
