Re: Do I have to tell the DME when I move out of state?
Check with Mutual of Omaha, and ask if you can continue your existing coverage in Texas. State laws may vary. I believe your plan or a very similar one should be available in most states, but it may not be the same company in another state. Location may also affect your premiums, but it should not ...

Re: Do I have to tell the DME when I move out of state?
If you got the machine under Medicare you'll be paying a copay for 13 months so they need to know where to send the bill. My secondary picks up whatever Medicare doesn't pay, at least that 's what they told me. Don't get me wrong, I had every intention of giving them my new address lol, I was just ...

Do I have to tell the DME when I move out of state?
I've had my machine for 2 1/2 months, about 2 weeks shy of the 90 day trial compliance period. By my estimate I've easily met the standards Medicare set to keep the machine. We sold our home and in a few days are moving out of state. Do I have to tell the DME? Should I wait til I move to notify them...

Re: Wrong setting for P10 nasal pillows
The cheeks puffing out we call chipmunk cheeks. The tongue drops down and doesn't keep the door shut to the airway and the air going up the nose and down the airway tries to exit prematurely at the first opening...the mouth because the tongue has opened the door. The tongue got lazy on the job. Got...

Re: Wrong setting for P10 nasal pillows
I was feeling tons of pressure in my nose last night and letting out puffs of air through the side of my mouth all night long. I just now realized I had the machine set to Full Face Mask instead of pillows. if anything, setting the machine to full face while using pillows is going to give you sligh...

Wrong setting for P10 nasal pillows
I was feeling tons of pressure in my nose last night and letting out puffs of air through the side of my mouth all night long. I just now realized I had the machine set to Full Face Mask instead of pillows. I must have accidentally changed it yesterday while messing with the machine. I've had bronch...

Re: Taping- First time advice?
I haven't taped so I don't have specifics for that but i did buy this little alarm which also has a light. You plug it in the same electrical outlet as your machine and when the electricty goes out you will know it. http://www.amazon.com/Powerout-Power-Failure-Alarm-Safety/dp/B00IA9BF70/ref=sr_1_1?...

Re: Pissed off scared and depressed
Hey I get where you're coming from, I was you 3 months ago. Pissed off, scared and depressed. But I realized I could stay that way and continue down a slippery slope to nothing good or be strong and figure it out. I chose the latter. It's normal to feel they way you are, expected I guess after learn...

Re: Bronchitis and CPAP
Bad cold since Friday... lots of breathing issues, not stuffed up, just having problems breathing. 10+ hours on cpap, Sat, Sun and Mon ea. I moved up my low Hum 2.0 to 3.5. While on the mask, I was able to breath fairly easily, cough pretty much turned off. Without the CPAP, I would have had to go ...
