Thanks to everyone for the feedback. It is strange, I think, that they only allow you to do a one-night sleep study at home, given that there might well be wide variations different nights. Anyway, I'm sticking with it for now - but I won't fear skipping a night or two if circumstances demand it.

Thanks for the replies, pugsy & archangle. Yeah, I kinda figured it might be an apples and oranges situation, but I was curious if anyone else had noticed it. I have to say that so far that I do like the ResMed more than the older Remstar; it's more adjustable, and it does seem to be "gentler" to us...
