Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
very nice... was there a question? Not really. I just wanted to show my progress. Looks like you nudged the max of 17 briefly in the wee hours of the morning...probably in response to the snores that are shown increasing at the same time. Might have been REM relate or might have been supine related...

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I think I had my best night yet. I think I was woken up 3 or 4 times over 7.5 hours, but compared to the once an hour I'm used too, that's really good for me. I noticed as soon as I got up that I forgot to install my SD card last night. AT least it logged my AHI. I'm Assuming that's accurate even if...

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I think it might have been as simple as tightening the straps, which I didn't notice I had to do until I increased the pressure. I slept on my side last night, basically laying my head on the mask and it didn't move. I'm looking forward to 6 or 7 hours of sleep tonight with an AHI of less than 4. I'...

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I'm thinking now that when I get woken up its because of insufficient pressure even though I thought before this forum it was too much pressure. I'll adjust the minimum to 11 tonight and see how I do. I just want to say thank you, again, to everyone that has helped and this forum in general. I have ...

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I was wondering about that, also if I should increase my max to 17?LSAT wrote:How about another slight raise of the minimum pressure? Maybe to 11.

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I slept pretty well and feel good for the three hours I got. I only remember waking up once. My schedule is easier the next couple of days and I should be able to sleep for a good 5 or 6 hours. I should know more after that.

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I was thinking it looked worse because the Clear Airway was less of a percentage than it had been and the Obstructive and Hypopnea were greater. I am a mouth breather and I had a hard time getting a FFM to fit without shifting or leaking. I tried a hybrid mask (Mirage Liberty) and it works very well...

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I thought I was doing better because of the lower AHI but the Obstructive and Hypopnea look just as bad if not worse.

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I figure I will just try the 10 and see if I can fall asleep. I can always change it back to 7 or 8 for a few days if I'm having problems. I am extremely excited to be getting somewhere. The sleepyhead software should be common knowledge. Even though I don't understand a majority of what its telling...

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
Ok. Thank you both. I'm comfortable changing my own pressure. It takes me almost 2 months to get into see my Dr and really do not want to wait that long between changes. I do have an appointment pre scheduled Jan 15th. It would be nice to go in with some knowledge of what is working and what is not....

Re: New to using the machine not new to having one
I have the graphs from last night and sleepyhead said they were bad. How do I post the screenshot?
