Re: 960P ASV problems
Thanks for the info Bwexler. Good to know you like the Resmed. I may ask for that one. My insurance only required a copay for 12 months and then I own the machine.

Re: 960P ASV problems
Update: I did talk to BCBS who is my secondary insurance. They said they cover repair or replace even if Medicare doesn't. Told me to let the DME help me get my problem solved.
Thanks to Pugsy and Okey Bipap for their advice.

Re: 960P ASV problems
Thank you for the quick response. I have Medicare part B and Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP Basic 111. I am trying to contact both Medicare and BCBS but wait times on phone are very busy. Will try again later. I wonder if the DME decides to try to repair if they will lend me a loner. I don't have a back...

960P ASV problems
Hello all, I have a Respironics 960P ASV. It has been waking me up with a low pressure alarm (last night 3 times). Blue Cross Blue Shield purchased the machine for me in 2015 so it won't be 5 years until March. I called my DME and they said it only has a 2 year warranty. An RT is supposed to call me...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
I just ordered mine from Cpap.com. Free shipping and free return insurance. Looks like an interesting mask. Not sure I will like the tape on the nose but will like having no headgear.
Thanks for all the positive reviews! Hope it works for me.

Re: Does or has anyone dry camped with a Philips Respironics Bipap Auto SV Advanced System One Model 960P?
Hi Sam, I've done lots of camping and have owned multiple RVs. Generally how they are set up is with a battery isolater that allows both batteries to charge when engine is running...but seperates batteries electrically (while not charging) so that you don't run the starter battery down. Any good RV...

Re: Does or has anyone dry camped with a Philips Respironics Bipap Auto SV Advanced System One Model 960P?
First, your Respironics 960P is essentially the same as the entire Respironics Series One line, such as the common 560 Auto, though it may use a bit more power. It has the same power supply, and uses the same 12V cord for battery use ($30 from cpap.com). BTW, I live on a boat much of the summer wit...

Re: Best pillow for a side sleeper (sometime back)
I am a side sleeper and love this pillow. It has 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. I have been using it for 2 years and it is still the same as when I first received it. It squishes nicely. https://www.amazon.com/CPAPfit-Pillow-Cool-Adjustable-Bamboo-Viscose-Cover/dp/B00NERG2O4/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=15089...

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I am thankful a member of my family survived a terrible accident - he was walking and hit by a car. Also very thankful for all the blessings I receive every day. Love Jesus.

Re: CPAPfit Pillow - Trial Offer for Feedback & Reviews
I received the previous version of this pillow through Brett's generosity. I LOVE it. Did I say I LOVE IT. I have been using it for many months and love the cushy feel and firmness too. Take advantage of it and give him honest reviews. You won't be sorry.

Re: freaking out over the mask
Please don't leave! Through this forum you can learn so much. Hopefully during your titration night, they will let you try on different masks. During my titration night, the sleep tech hooked me up to all the wires and then showed me many different masks and allowed me to try many of them on. I chos...

Re: ASV 960P and cervical collar
I wish more people (and advisers) would 'push' the collars because I believe they could make much more of a difference to many people having trouble and not knowing why they have it when e.g. their software results are basically ok, but they do have relatively high flow limitation rates, which seem...
