Re: OSCAR v1.5.1 released - September 23, 2023
OSCAR is free. A hidden link can be buried in a text display that can look like a link. The safest thing to do when hovering on a link, is to always look at the bottom left of your browser to see the actual link if it is clicked. Here's an example: https://freecpaps.com/claim-yours It actually goes ...

Re: Another Crook DME To Avoid
Since they are acting like a DME, selling CPAP and supplies, I find it "odd" that they are allowed to advertise on this site, since they are basically a competitor. . . What do I know?

Re: Does Anybody Use WiFi SD Cards?
I've been using a FlashAir SD card for about 7 years now. I have it set up so my NAS downloads its data every morning. It's a shame Toshiba sold that division and the new owners decided to stop its production.

Re: Does the pressure relief setting affect event levels?
The EPR can cause CO2 washout. No biggie normally, but it can increase CA's. The EPR is the reduction of the inhale pressure, in centimeters, by a value equal to the number selected. An example would be having a pressure setting of 10cm and an EPR of 3 would result in the pressure dropping to 7cm wh...

Re: Feeding the CPAP humidifier when traveling
Even though the manufacturers say to use distilled water (I think it may be a legal issue) you can use regular tap water. Just wash out the reservoir each day with mild soap and warm water. Dawn or liquid hand soap, with no abrasives, will work fine. Most drug stores and groceries sell gallon jugs o...

Try rebuilding your data. SH 1.0 Beta has some undocumented features that may lead to this.

Re: Resmed H5i climate line
After connection to your CPAP there will be an added menu option to set the temperature. Set it to "OFF" by scrolling down the temp range. Actually, if you set it to any temperature below the ambient room temp will render it nonfunctional.

I kinda feel slighted. . . She didn't send me an email. I guess the saying "So ugly that I could make a freight train take a dirt road" really means something.

This is just a WAG, but what version of Windows are you running? Could this problem have started after an update?

Re: CMS 50F problem with Sleepyhead
I see that you are listing SH 0.92 as your version. The latest SH version is 1.0 Beta 2. The 1.0 Beta has a bug that adds "stuff" to the end of a direct import but will work correctly using a file import. Version 0.98.1-Testing worked correctly with a direct import. You might try updating SH to see ...

What is the error message you're receiving? Also, are you purging the bad data in SH before importing the file?greenall wrote:. . .sleepyhead refuses to recognize the format of the spo2 file.

Re: CMS50FW and sleepyhead
The SpO2 Assistant software has a feature to sync the CMS50 with the computer's time. (Options->Synchronize Device Time) Just make sure that you update your computer's time first. You then need to make sure that your CPAP is set to the same time. Another option when importing the data is to select t...

Re: CMS50FW and sleepyhead
SH 1.0-Beta 1 & 2 have a bug if you import the data directly from the CMS50 unit. It acts like it doesn't see the data EOF terminator. This bug isn't in 0.9.8.1. I've found that the data will import correctly in the 1.0-Betas if you import SpO2 data from the raw (.spO2) data file. This is the file c...

Re: Sleepyhead Help needed by Computer Dummy
Go to the directory were you installed all the files. Look for 2 files named SleepyHead-OpenGL.exe or SleeyHead-BrokenGL.exe. Try the OpenGL first. If you have graphics problems, try the BrokenGL one. Once you find the one that works, go to the directory again and right-click on the file that worked...
