Re: DCR and CPAP

Not yet I have an appointment on the 15th at Johns Hopkins, which are the cream of the crop. I'm going to try to get a balloon dilation. It's used almost exclusively with children, but some studies show or might work with adults too. But for some reason doctors don't seem to wasn't to do it. I'd lik...

Re: CPAP Following a DCR (tear duct surgery)

I am now in the same situation. I have a blocked tear duct and several doctors have recommended DCR to me, but I'm terrified to do it because without my CPAP my quality of life decreases by quite a bit. Topic creator, did you ever get the surgery? Did it interfere with your CPAP?

DCR and CPAP

I have been using my CPAP machine to great success for over a year now and it has really improved my life. Unfortunately, as a result of sinus surgery, my left tear duct is now seemingly damaged. Re: Just Started my CPAP - Getting odd results

I don't really have a sleep doctor here. I have just been seeing an ENT at the moment. My insurance paid for the sleep studies and ENT, but that's it. I purchased the CPAP myself and I am self treating. I get new insurance January 15th with a much more robust network of doctors so I will have a lot ...

Just Started my CPAP - Getting odd results

Hi everyone, Maybe you can help me. I have been using my CPAP machine for about a month now, but only yesterday got an SD card for it. Using it last night revealed some interesting results. I have been lurking on this board for a month or so and have been doing all kinds of research. I have a ResMed...

Any Danger APAP machines if you don't know the settings?

Hello, I have recently done several sleep studies and am going to begin CPAP soon. I recognize the importance of it and, while I am not looking forward to it, I am looking forward to finally getting a good night's sleep. However, my girlfriend's father has sleep apnea quite badly. He chokes while as...
