Re: Have you ever done THIS in your sleep?
I'm fairly new to CPAP myself, but have found myself doing strange things with my mask and hose, like trying to take them apart or taking it all off in my sleep. I think we just need to give ourselves time to adjust to the mask and also to adjust the mask straps better. Keep trying.

Re: Nuvigil and Provigil NOT working What next??
I was diagnosed with EDS after I had finished treatment for Lyme Disease. I was presccribed provigil/modafinil. It did what caffeine couldn't. However, I couldn't take it after 1pm or it would affect my sleep. For some strange reason, it helped me sleep better, improved my sleep pattern and most str...

Re: anyone here make their own hose cover
I don't sew, so the fleece cover is out of the question. I did have a creative idea. Foam pipe insulation! I took my hose into the store to make sure I got one with the right internal diameter. I picked out one that has adhesive on the split side. I want the hose to remain flexible, so I cut the pip...

Re: Sleep disorders NOT apnea
In an earlier post, someone stated that lyme disease could cause sleep problems. I had lyme disease that wasn't diagnosed for at least two years post infection. When I went back to work, I could only work part time, had to take naps at work and had to leave work frequently due to feeling tired. I ha...

Re: How do you stop sleeping on your face? (stomach/side sleeper
Sew empty rolls of thread onto the front of your pajamas/sleepwear. I hear that sleeping on hard lumps is very uncomfortable. Either that or get/make a pillow in the shape of a ring. That way you could sleep on your stomach and have enough room for your mask without nasty whistling sounds.

You might try listing it on craigs list. Be sure to post pictures and the model number of the machine. Text only ads aren't nearly as appealing as ones with pictures. Good luck.

Re: Remstar Lite and accessories for sale-I'll make you a deal
I would rather have a bit of spending money in my pocket this time of year than a back up machine. I already have a back up sort of.....I only have to hike a mile to my cabin to get it..

Re: Remstar Lite and accessories for sale-I'll make you a deal
Thanks for the heads up on the lack of worth of this machine. I'll edit my craig's list posting to reflect my enlightenment. I still am hoping to get a few bucks out of it, so I may just price it as best offer gets it, with no numerical amount listed.

Remstar Lite and accessories for sale-I'll make you a deal
I have a Remstar Lite with hose, mask, filters and like-new carrying bag listed for sale on Craig's list Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley. I'm not setting a price, so make me an offer and I'll probably accept it. I will even ship it, if necessary. I just don't need the machine. I bought a Remstar Cfl...

Yes, I do use my cpap for all my naps. I look forward to putting it on. I guess my body associates it with a much better night's sleep.

YAY! Instant positive results, new cpap user!
I ahve been on cpap for less than a month. Prior to cpap, I would wake at least three times a night and get up and go to the bathroom. Since, starting cpap, I just realized that I sleep through the night! Wow! What a wonderful result of cpap so quickly. I have been finding the need to take two hour ...

Re: Airsense 10 DC to DC Converter #37297
My husband picked up a nice Samlex pure sine wave inverter to use with my cpap. Turns out the cpap I got off of craig's list uses straight 12 volts, so the inverter wasn't necessary. So, if you don't want to wait, just get a good inverter.

Now that is getting creative! Wow! Heat tape.....I'm impressed. Too bad I can't run out to my local pet store and get some. I'll keep thinking.
