Re: DME/online/insurance question

Yes. I have no problem with brick & mortar! I just want to find one that won't mess up my order and be impossible to deal with.

I have NO qualifications other than ANY in-network UHC DME that people have had an ok experience with!

Re: DME/online/insurance question

Healthcare In-Network covers 85% of eligible expenses after deductible (which I met months ago) Out of Network covers 65% after $800 deductible, which I've barely touched. I'm not looking for brick and mortar. Online is fine, so long as it's in-network. All the standard online sites are out of netwo...

Re: DME/online/insurance question

I will do that, but this isn't a question about in network vs out of network. I've done the math and I've done out of network and it's a lot more expensive. I'm just hoping to find an in network DME that isn't incompetent. There's 130 responses on their website and that's just within 20 miles of me....

Re: DME/online/insurance question

Now it's a year later and what an adventure it's been. I got a new job with better healthcare, now on United Healthcare, but still struggling to find a DME. They listed a few that had nice websites, but terrible reviews online like Apria. My takeaway is there are great companies with easy to use web...

Re: DME/online/insurance question

This one I think does mail order and also has brick and mortar stores http://www.ahom.com/services-and-products/sleep-apnea I haven't contacted them yet, will call tomorrow, but the site looks great, sounds like they take care of the insurance stuff first, which is what I'm looking for. Will report...

Re: DME/online/insurance question

You would need to check with your insurance to make sure that they will work with the online cpap supplier as in be "in network" so you get best price. There's several that say they will work with insurance. Liberty Medical is on that comes to mind because they advertise on TV all the time. Easybre...

DME/online/insurance question

Hello, first post. Sorry if this has been covered, I did a cursory search and didn't see anything. I've been using my CPAP for 2 years or so now and have had consistent issues with my DME, which is the company that was used by my sleep doctor. I finally got fed up and decided to try to get my suppli...
