I didn't like that hair look either. Got a lightweight skull cap at WM...problem solved.

Re: Question
karessamom I had that same leaking problem but found relief by securing a sweatband from the nape of my neck over the nose piece of the mask with an simple overhand knot. Carefully examine his mask to make sure no exhale ports will be covered up if you do that. My sweat band is approx 20"x2" made fr...

Re: Changing Filters
We heat with wood so dust is a problem. I swap out filters monthly and you can see they do get dirty...
...as an aside. The filters seem hardy enough to compress air clean then wash mildly....but I dunno.
I imagine folks with clean electric heat go quite awhile between filter changes.

Re: Mouth Taping -- Micropore tape hard to start, rips unevenly?
Blue painters tape...alrighty then, I'll try that. What about your mouth opening up under the mask? My machine once cranked up gives me chipmunk cheeks and sometimes I wake up with my mouth open and very dry. I dont mind the dry mouth cause i still feel well rested but am wondering about the therape...

Re: Slipping headgear and mask leakage
I'm a back sleeper and have finally locked down all leaks by tiring a bandanna over the top of nose piece, around and down along the side of my face and using a double overhand tie over the nape of my neck...
...stays secure and is easily released.
