Thank you all!
I did read the "Pugsy's Pointers" thread. I guess I just got overwhelmed with information. I will keep studying everything and ask questions when they arise.
thanks again!

Re: New sleepyhead data
I did as you said, and the other card filled in the gaps. Thank you! If anyone else has any pointers I'm all ears. I'll read through the tutorial again and try to understand the numbers again. I'm still using 2l of O2 and O2 level is staying above 88 all night. W/o o2 I was licky to stay in 70's. I'...

New sleepyhead data
Hey gang. Finally updated my iMac. I loaded Sleepyhead and uploaded some screenshots. Could you guys look and see if everything is ok, and maybe help me understand a little better? I'm feeling great, just want to make sure I have this going right. Thanks! http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a318/justi...

Classic Sleep Care is out of BCBS network. They accept BCBS assignment for me. I pay nothing out of pocket. They have been outstanding with me.

Re: Caffeine
No diabetes or hypoglycemia. Dr. checked for both.
I am not going to completely give up caffeine, just try not to drink 10 cups of coffee anymore.

Re: Caffeine
Thank you all.
This confirms my suspicion. I've been cutting back on the coffee and will continue to do so. I still would like a couple cups in the morning though...
The withdrawals are interesting. I guess caffeine is like any other drug.

Caffeine
I read in another thread about new XPAP users becoming more sensitive to caffeine. There's not many things I enjoy more than coffee. I've had days where I've gotten dizzy or shaky. This was never an issue before CPAP. Is the improved sleep causing this?
I am feeling better than I have in years.

Heated hose question
My buddy just replaced his CPAP and keeps complaining of cold air.
His new machine is Resmed airsense 10. Ref37020
I don't see a plug for a heated hose. Any ideas?
My machines are PR. I'm no help.

Re: Getting rid of odors in a machine. (Smoke, Etc...)
I had good luck de smoking my backup machine by running it along with an ozone generator in a closet for a day. The machine was a Craigslist find and had one hour on it, so it didn't really run in the smoke, it just sat in it. All this is moot for me though. A few of the guys in the band smoke and i...

Re: How to keep from removing my mask subconsciously each night?
I did the same thing when I first started. I tried everything. What finally worked for me was to put socks (tube type) over my hands. A buddy told me about this. Good luck!

Re: Sleep meds. Zopiclone?
Ambien worked ok for me when it worked. I found there is about a 15 minute window that it works for me. If I did not go to sleep in that window, I would be up all night but remember very little. If you try the Ambien, be in bed and ready to sleep when you take the pill. About ten years ago, I told m...
