Mask and Mouth breathing question.
I will try to clarify what I am asking, but may just make it worse. The nasal masks were causing me to open my mouth even though I use a chin strap. I have allergies and my nose wants to go shut sometimes which makes it a need to breath through the mouth no matter how I prepare for the bed. I am all...

A can of soda or thermos of cold water by your bedside for when you wake up. I will give that a serious try tonight. Everytime the things gets comfortable the docs have to go dinking around with my "stuff" you know cpap. If they ever get their grimey little pinchers on me it is a lost cause. How doe...

Mask and Mouth breathing question.
I have used CPAP for 3 years, but lately began to have problems taking it off at night and still being sleepy. Recently I have awakened myself snoring with the mask on, and my granddaughter and son have commented on my snoring (must be pretty bad if they heard it in another room through closed...

Dx. with pulmonary hypertension...............
My primary symptom was exhausted and tired all the time, and then sob with exertion plus feeling dizzy sometimes. Luckily, I have not had to do the oxygen at this point. I have exercised 3-5 days a week for years, so knew it was not my fitness level. It is a real shock to take good care of yourself,...

DX, with pulmonary hypertension
I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension secondary to severe sleep apnea. The sleep apnea caused me to have diastolic dysfunction, which caused the pulmonary hypertension. Treatments have lowered my pressures some, but still there. I had no idea what was wrong, so it was quite a shock to find not...

I need some help
My experience was it is considered a lease purchase. When the amount paid by you and the insurance company reaches the cost of the machine, it is then yours. It is like buying the machine on installment plan. During the lease the RT company will service it etc, then when it is purchased you have to ...
