Re: Im an oldie but a goodie (need a new machine)
They *all* have an SD card, or at least, an SD card slot. Your 11 sends data to the Resmed servers, it's got a cell modem built right on the circuit board. Yep, I knew that, but the first thing I did was put an SD card in. I was at the Prescribing Docs last wek and they told me it no longer phones ...

Re: Im an oldie but a goodie (need a new machine)
For the OP, I recently moved from the 9 to an 11. i could have got a 10, but I chose the 11 for two reasons: 1. In theory, newer technology 2. The only 10 I could find used the cloud or data and did not have an SD card for recording. I'm not a big fan of using the cloud for anything. AFAIK you need ...

All gone - Free P10 medium nasal pillows
These have all been given away. Sorry After my last shipment from my DME I started looking thru my supplies and found 9 brand new medium pillows for an Airfit P10 mask. All are brand new and each still in a sealed bag as they came from the DME. I switched from medium to large a long time ago. Pillow...

Well surprise, surprise, I received my replacement Dreamstation2 yesterday. But after talking with a number of folks, I think I will still try to get Resmed 11.

insurance reimbursement
I have a script for a new CPAP machine. It has been over 5 years since I last bought a machine. At the moment I prefer a Resmed Autosense 11. I'm a long time CPAP user - over 20 years. Currently using an 11 yr old Resmed 9 since I shelved my Dreamstation due to the recall. I am aware I will eventual...

Trying to decide on a new machine
I am a long time user of CPAP. My Dreamstation was set aside a year ago and still no replacement. I went back to my old S9 for the last year. The S9 was new in 2011. It has been over 5 years since my Dreamstation was a new machine so I'm thinking I can get insurance to cover a new machine. I'm tired...

Re: I need information about dyspnea.
I have also been diagnosed with dyspnea which I have also been told for me means exertial asthma, i.e., asthma symptoms that show up during heavy exertion. But that may just be me.

Re: Need help finding a mask to fit
Cpap user for over 20 yrs. I hated all the masks I ever used over those years but stuck with it since I started to sleep much better. I also have a full beard. 5 or 6 yrs ago I finally tried nasal pillows and have never been happier. I also prefer the P10 Airfit.

Re: ruby chinstrap seems to have disappeared
The Amazon link is the small-large size and not the XL that I asked about. For the last 3 weeks and even early this morning I went to that same amazon site which is where I usually purchase from and it has said out of stock on the XL size and did not know when they would be back. Also looked on ebay...

Re: Annual Sleep Doc Visit?
Well this was interesting. My "sleep doctor" is a pulmanologist and I see him once a year. He does review the data on the SD card and does send a script to my DME who says that I must have a script to get supplies. mmmm, maybe I should look at other DMEs, but I have no complaints at the moment. Beca...

ruby chinstrap seems to have disappeared
I have been using the carefusion ruby chinstrap (xl) for a number of years, but can no longer find it available. Is it no longer made? Anyone got another recommendation for an equivalent chinstrap?

Re: CPAPfit Pillow Illustrations - feeback wanted
Since I have one of the pillows I would say that none of the illustrations mean anything to me. I sleep on my back and on both sides. I never know in what position I will wake up. The most important point of the pillow to me is that I can mold it to what ever way feels the most comfortable with a si...

Re: A holiday gift to you
Great Idea I grabbed a badge clip from my stash of stuff and and velcro wrap and made one. Saved you the postage, but you get my thanks. I'm going to try mine by clipping to the pillow.

Re: smoking heated tubing
I notice that when my humidifier runs out of water or the first few days with a new hose. You might turn your machine on during the day and let it run for a couple of hours to see if that will "air" out the new hose.
