Re: Looking for a little advice.

I'm a mouth breather when asleep without cpap but a nose breather when on cpap.

So just because you think you're a mouth breather doesn't mean you will be on cpap.

To me, the full face mask were a difficult mask to use and the nasal pillow one (P10) is almost like not wearing one.

I wonder how much meat and what kind. I love beef!
Don't worry. Flies are an excellent source of B-12.

Re: Can't breathe, can't sleep

I'm not congested. My pressures are set at a range of I think 6-10. You're right that I'll have to pull the data to see what's really going on. It's just been so long I forget how to do all of that. Since you haven't used your cpap in a while, have you checked your filters? Regarding humidity, what...

Re: Resmed Airfit P10 - 10 day review

I found that I had to lower the humidity from 3 to 2 when the machine parked below bed level. Once I moved the machine back to being even with my bed, I had to raise the humidity one level to 3. We've had a lot of rain lately so some nights, its pretty obvious that only a little water is used out of...

Re: Resmed Airfit P10 - 10 day review

I too am a user of the P10 and love it. What I found is even though the medium is a more comfortable fit, the large size actually allows for less restrictive breathing. Track down a large and see how you like it. Seems like I got mine off of ebay or amazon. If you don't already know this , you can g...

Re: Tricks to fall asleep

[/quote] Even before cpap, I had trouble falling asleep. My mind just won't turn off easily. I had to create daydreams, a story that I was in, and eventually, I would fall asleep. That way takes me longer. The quick way is to sleep with the tv on. Just loud enough to hear without straining. It can b...

Re: i love my P10 but......

Jaycee, it took about three weeks for my nose to stop balking at the P10, and lanolin is the only thing that got me through it. I still apply a light coating each night to keep the chafing away. Also, you may need to fiddle with the headgear for a while to find the sweet spot, not to loose to cause...

Re: Is there a reason for this?

It's true that truth is a defense to a claim of libel in the United States. (Not everyone here is in the USA, and I know that libel claims are handled somewhat differently in, for example, the UK. However, I don't recall ever having seen someone complaining about their UK DME--also, I think the del...

Re: BiPAP pressure / sleepyhead results (Please help review)

paps

Have you tried putting your machine on auto bipap and then tweak from there (particularly the exhale pressure)

I still think you'd do better sleeping on your side and incline your bed so the acids stay in your stomach. No eating after 6pm.

Re: Why am i still so tired???

Sorry you're feeling so bad but something is clearly not right. As a double check to the cpap machine, have you tried using one of those oximeters and checked to see what you're oxygen levels are doing the night. I'm no doctor but it sounds like there is still something wrong with your sleep. Are yo...

That's great.

I got mine down to .2 one night last week but that was a fluke. Probably some kind of hickup in my machine.

Re: Treatment going well, but a lot of "clear airway" events

If centrals were an issue during your sleep study, then they would have put you on a type of machine that would initiate a breath if you didn't breathe.

Might be worth mentioning to your sleep doctor when you see him.

David,

I noticed that this is your first post.

Are you on a CPAP machine?
