If you haven't already, remove power, wait a couple of minutes and plug it back in.
Many times in electronics including computer, cable boxes, etc., things get scrambled. Often time removing power and letting it reboot clears it up.

One point that you are dead right on is that if you do have pollen allergies, you breath pretty good during your sleep with the filtered air from your machine.

On my windows machine, I don't select the folder. The program finds the correct files on its own and downloads what it needs.

Re: DME problems
Considering BCBS's high deductible, I used our host for the better part of two years. I spent less in a year than my ridiculous deductible. I came across the same situation given that now due to Obamacare my deductable is $300. I paid $80 from our forum sponsor for the mask I wanted. Buying it from...

About keeping eyes moist during sleep with pads?????
I remember reading a blurb here about using something on your eyes while you sleep to help keep them moist.
Does anyone do this and do you have any recommendations.

Re: Exciting News! No machine yet, but hey! Soon! Really!
Anne, What I came across is not all DMEs stock equipment. The one I started with was going to have to order everything. I wound up with one that had them in stock and could provide me everything I needed in minutes and not weeks. Its not uncommon to have to go through more than one mask before you f...

Re: P10 exhale issues??????
No heated hose involved and I don't let the room get below 72 degrees. The new P10 showed up today. I went ahead and hooked it up to the CPAP and I could tell that I'm getting more air exhausting the woven frame piece than the other two. Thought I'd google the P10 cleaning instructions. They say to ...

P10 exhale issues??????
Seems to me that if I use a humidity setting of 4 or 5, that the mesh exhaust ports block up after a while and I can't exhale. Since I have 2 P10 outfits, I'll just change to the other P10. Then when I wash them, it seems to return to functioning properly again and stays ok as long as I keep the hum...

Re: Mask Hell: Harness Causes Baldy Headaches
Having had four sleep studies using the WISP exclusively, I assumed that mask selection would be a no-brainer. ...snip... Welcome to CPAP hell. Try this. Since you have an auto bipap machine, change your setting to Auto. There is a possibility that your pressures are too high and by having lower pr...

Re: Sex and cpap
I have finally met a fantastic man. He wants to spend the night together and so do I but how do I pull out the cpap and not scare him off. Obviously i have to prepare him for it but I dont want to wear it when we are together. What have others done? I'd have some fun with it. When he picks you up f...

Re: It's been three months....
Hi Nathan, I had a similar problem during the sleep study where I couldn't exhale due to the pressures. The solution was to use a slightly different CPAP machine called a bipap that allows for a broader range of adjustments on the exhale side than the aflex on a cpap machine. Only thing to watch is ...

Re: I don't know what to do
Cubcakes, You really need to go into detail about what mask you're using, the machine, settings, etc. For example, I use the P10 nasal pillow mask....and love it. If I go too many days without giving it a good wash, it somehow blocks up and causes problems expelling my exhaled breath. That will make...

Re: Any ideas on how to lower my AHI? (Pesky Hypopnea's)
Does it happen soon after returning to bed after a bathroom run? If it does, my sleep doctor says that its normal. Problem he has had with sleep techs is that they try to eliminate every event where that causes some fairly high pressures that people have difficulty sustaining. Better to have a few e...
