Ha Ha! This is great! I may just opt for a set of nasal pillows to try out.

Re: Mask pushing towards eyes
Thank you both for your rapid replies!
I am always congested, but that has relieved a lot since getting my machine. Seriously. I'm wondering if I break my habit of mouth breathing.

Mask pushing towards eyes
Hi all, My mask seems to put pressure towards my eyes. I wake up with bags under my eyes. I also think that my eyes are drying out because of it. I am a VPAP user so my mask is tied down VERY TIGHT on my face to prevent leaks. I have an Amara Full Face Mask. Can I switch to nasal pillows with high p...

Re: Mask and Nasal Pillows Question - ASV
Thank you all! I'm using the Amara Full Face, not the Amara View.
My first night was great, even with 52% leak. But, night 2, not so much. Tonight I dread fighting with the mask.

Mask and Nasal Pillows Question - ASV
Hello, I am new to therapy and currently have an Amara full face mask. I have it cinched down very tight due to air leaks associated with the high pressure that my machine puts out. I'm on ASV. I tried to start by slowly tightening it. Now I have creases on my face and the mask is still leaking. I h...

Re: ASV - After the 1st night questions
It blows so hard that it's practically levitating off of my face at times.

ASV - After the 1st night questions
Hi, I feel AMAZING and AWAKE today. I hope this high doesn't leave me! I have a couple of questions. I downloaded Sleepyhead, but how do I upload to here? My AHI was 0.70. Mask leak 52%. S9 heated humidifier set to 3.0, I felt it was slightly dry. Why/How do I set the temperature? I took a stab at 7...

ASV - Tonight's the night!
Tonight is the night. I get to finally start therapy. This is a costly journey, especially for ASV therapy. I just purchased a used S9 VPAP ADAPT SV. I have been waiting for a couple of parts that should be on my porch when I get home. I'm getting excited and hopeful for a good night of sleep and mo...

Re: CPAP sucess causing marriage issues
I am brand new to this CPAP business, but not new to marriage. Been married 23 years. I actually get to start CPAP treatment for the first time, tonight. Your story is inspirational! Would your wife be happy watching a movie by herself why you release some of your new found energy walking, running, ...

Re: FitBit -- worth it?
Love my fitbit for day activities. But, I agree, it only detects movement at night. I don't think it is very accurate for sleep activities.

I had a heart attack back when I was 40. I'm 47 now. Make good/healthy changes so that your children and wife can enjoy you longer.
