Re: Help with Mask "Farting" sounds
I started out with a pressure of 5 and now up to 10 and my readings are still 3.8. Should I increase it to 11? This is year 2 of therapy

Re: Nuance Pro mask
I have been on CPAP therapy for just over 2 years and rarely do I get an AHI at or below 2. My pressure was set for my by the resp therapist at 8 but I upped it to 9 because in the last month I have started to get palpitations (bigeminy rhythm) again which makes me feel like my heart is going to jum...

Re: Do I need to go back to Dr
Hi Julie. Last night I had 1.4 periodic breathing which I have never had before and an AHI of 5.7 - highest ever. What does the periodic breathing indicate? I have installed the sleepyhead software, but am not very proficient at reading it yet.

I am just reading about the auto CPAP machines. I have a pressure of 7.5 and currently have the REMstar Pro C-Flex+. Are the auto machines really better?

What machines are similar to the Respironics in view of humidity control and noise level but allow you to view your readings?

trying nasal/pillows masks
My machine is REF 461 CA. I think I will buy a new machine in a year or so because I would like to know how I am doing. I am lucky because I no longer have the morning headaches.

Re: trying nasal/pillows masks
Hi. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea in May and my setting is 7.5. I started with the nasal mask and then tried the res med pillow one. I liked it but it was irritating my nostrils just at the entrance. Is this normal? Do people lubricate their nostrils first? Also my machine doesn't give me a readi...
