We had a guy at work directed to put the machine in his vehicle and plug it in and drive until he got a signal so it could transmit his compliance report. Needless to say he told them to pound sand
It transmits as soon as it has power and a good cell connection.

Re: are trucking companys required to furnish a converter for cp
They are not required. However it would be better if you got the adapter for the 12 volt power outlet that should be available for your machine. They also have an adapter that has heavy gauge clips that can clamp to the battery directly if needed. I have all three of them.110v, 12v outlet and the cl...

Re: SD card questions, ResMed S9 Autoset
The only message I get when I reinstall the SD card and plug the machine back in is "Please wait, SD card is in Use." I am sure all it is doing is verifying the card. It doesn't write anything or erase anything to the card upon reinstalling it. It still contains all the data from day one on it. I do...

I'm betting D'Cruz is a typo and was intended to be DC.

Re: lurker coming out
JS, As I previously mentioned, I had a home study test at the end of 2011 that I feel under reported the severity of my apnea because it assumed I was asleep for 7 hours and made the calculation of the AHI based on that fact. I wouldn't be at all surprised when I have my full scale study that the s...

Enough with the drama. I said early on, If I need it I will use it. You make accepting this crap out to be some boogie man event. enough already. You had me turned on it the minute you brought up your denial remark. I can tell you this, NOBODY likes a person that assumes anything about individuals, ...

Re: lurker coming out
Oh I am using the machine. I am collecting all the data that the compliance company doesn't even look at. I am obviously keeping them happy, I have had no calls about my usage. Not a single follow up call to see how I am doing. All I got from the guy was him telling me How I been sleeping all wrong ...

Yes the lab I was sent to does them there. They have pretty nice accommodations. I will likely go back to them for the in lab study. A little more knowledge under my belt though.

Re: lurker coming out
I understand the trip to the bathroom event. I sleep in a truck most of the week. In the winter it's cooler and I wake up ONCE in the night because my feet get a little cold under the sheet and I put on socks. ONCE IN A WHILE. I do not wake up to go to the bathroom in the middle of my sleep to urina...
