2 months so far on a CPAP and I feel great! I am sleeping almost 7-8 hours every night and it is the best sleep I have ever gotten. So glad I stuck with after the horrible first week.

Thanks to everyone for their help. I lowered the humidity level after I cleaned my machine and I didn't preheat the humidifier. I slept for almost 7 hours, which is the longest I have slept on it in the almost 2 weeks since I started CPAP. I'm so excited that I think I finally have it figured out.

At a setting off 8 for humidity with your machine...that's the maximum (may vary depending on the ambient humidity where you live) it can go to and while I don't know how that relates to automatic at 85% ....it's going to be cranking out the moisture and while some folks do well with it maxed out ....

I think the main problem I'm having is just getting used to wearing it. I only wore it for 4 hours the first night and 3 the second night. I adjusted the humidifier to a different level and that has seemed to help with the dry mouth. I guess it's just something to get used to.
